Iv'e been going to DR. Nagy for 8 to 9 years . The man truly save my life. My case was a tough one but he discovered that i had chronic cluster headaches and sometime later we found the right Medicine and dose so I have been pain free for 5 years. I am 71 and still able to work headache free.

Regardless of the fact that Dr. Nagy has a poor bedside manner. I was very upset over the fact that after spending days trying to put my own records into his system, records he was sent at least 3 weeks prior. During my appointment he had me go over the years of my experience with migraines. And told me that is all he treats, not the underlying causes. Then sent me away to come back in a month so he could review my records and we could visit again about my migraines. He did not offer any advice to help them or start treatment. How awful, There is NO way I will go back. Thanks for nothing!

I was told they had to see my records before scheduling me. I spent time gathering all my records and sent them. It's been like a year at this point and I've left messages but never had any reply. I definitely would not recommend a place that makes you send your records then never gets back to you.
Dr. Nagy is professional, on-time for his telemedicine appointments, and very caring doctor. Always listens to what you have to say and doesn't rush through the appointments. Strongly recommend him!

We have used Dr. Nagy for years, as my husband sees him due to chronic headaches as a side effect from having brain surgery at UCLA. My son also has chronic headaches due to head trauma while playing football. For my husband and son, without meds, sudden onset symptoms are strong enough to force them to lie down for the day. Both still struggle with headaches, but are able to cut downtime with the meds. Finding the right combination for both of my guys, has taken quite a while, and even though we are not yet, rid of headaches entirely, both are 75% better than they were before. I work in the medical field, and I feel Dr. Nagy has a serious bedside manner, some may call it cold, but I don't feel this way. I have been in rooms where doctors have made people cry because of their attitude, so I have experienced cold. Yes, he could be more chatty, and warm, but in all reality, it does not bother us.The doctor and my family are meeting to solve complex problems, and other sick patients are waiting, so we are okay without the chit chat. The medical world is changing, and due to issues patients may be unaware of, restrictions and time constraints, are not always the doctors fault. Dr. Nagy will ask a lot of questions, dictate, take many notes, and remains focused while we are with him, in this aspect, we could not ask for more.We want to concentrate on wiping out the headaches, and are busy people too, so time is of essence for us. Keep looking if you need a doctor that is on the warmer side, but give Dr. Nagy a chance if you are more concerned with wiping out the headache demons.
