The practice emphasizes an evidence-based approach to chronic musculoskeletal pain, joint conditions, and spine-related disorders. Patients receive comprehensive evaluation and ongoing management as part of a coordinated pain-management strategy.
I have been going to Pain Specialists of Nevada for many years. I have never had any issues with them, everything works smooth, fast & easy., I am in and out quickly. But if I have any issues or need to talk about anything they listen, find a solution and don’t rush me. As in any Drs office when you are a new patient things take time to get everything organized such as treatment plan etc. I am very satisfied with them.

Everyone there are super friendly, even the patients too. Dr. Helmi has a good bedside manner, he is willing to listen. This is my first time there, haven't started any treatment yet. I hope everything stays the same. I will give you all the updates soon.

Mostly everyone there is friendly, even though it seems that they do tend to make errors. During my visit, I met with a young lady, Dr Nguyen and Dr. Helmi. This is my first time at this office, two hrs later and no injections! I haven't started any treatment yet, although I thought I would be getting a TPI.
During my appointment, I was informed that they would have to request the notes from my cervical medial branch block doctor and my previous pain management doctor. This was a little disappointing given that I waited two weeks for this appointment and had previously provided my MRIS. There was no previous mention about my prior doctor's notes. I was also informed that they need to check for pre-approval for my tpi. Again, I explained to this doctor that my insurance doesn't require pre-approval. I called my insurance as soon as I left this office and they informed me that they will contact pain specialists of Nevada in the morning since they were already closed to inform them of their procedure.
Dr Nguyen discussed other options with me like an epidural. We also discussed their MLS laser while I was there. I did explain to Dr helmi that I had some red laser treatment at a prior chiropractic office. He claimed that laser was a superficial laser that only went skin deep. They're laser supposedly goes deeper.
Two days later, I called in and spoke to Sandy. She agreed there should be no issue since my insurance doesn't require pre-approval. I tell her that we agree on the issue so why did I have to reach out to my insurance and have them do all this extra work. I was told some nonsense about how they do this for all patients. I then explained that a Yelp review indicated that a PA had informed to them but their insurance would cover a certain procedure and it did not. That person was then on the hook for two procedures. If insurance is always checked for all patients, then that incident would have never have happened.
I asked to speak to Samdy's manager since she was being rude and threatening to hang up on me because I caught her lying. 12 minutes later and I'm connected to Soraya.
On Feb 11, I met with PA Gina for my TPI. She's very sweet. The only thing is I am very dizzy after 4 days. The medical assistant told me to call my Dr bc it could be a reaction.

Excellent office and staff. Dr Ruggeroli is very professional, friendly, helpfull and willingly listens to the patient. His mannerisms are the best I've had in a long while. His assistant Marley is very pleasant to deal with and helpfull. My family strongly recommends this clinic and it's doctors and staff. 4.0

Spotless office, warm and friendly front office staff and Dr. Helmi and his resident
was most pleasant and patient and listened to all my concerns. Michelle at the front desk desk cracks me up! I’m looking forward to working with this entire group moving forward.
