Holy cow! I should have been paralyzed, but I saw Dr Ferrillo on TV. My general practitioner didn't help, so I was my own advocate. I called ASCPM, made an appointment and was on my way. After MRI and another test, they found exactly where the fracture was and figured out how to fix it. Well, Dr. Ferrillo is my hero. I actually walked when I hadn't in more than 10 months. The procedure was easy and I'm a big baby. Just a little pin prick and ahhhh I wasn't sick. I was totally awake during the entire thing. There are no words to say how grateful my husband and I for this gentleman and his fabulous staff, who are so nice and really cool. I will even show my exrays to anyone who wants to see so that you can get happy again. We love you Dr Ferrillo, Rob and staff. ❤️❤️🌹❤️❤️

I was referred to this pain management clinic by my Bone and Joint doctor following a car accident that caused significant back pain. Before my initial appointment, I had to wait for over an hour, which was already frustrating given my condition. During the visit, the consultation itself was disappointing. The doctor spent very little time asking about my actual pain or symptoms. Instead, she focused on what felt like intrusive and largely irrelevant questions about the accident itself, rather than understanding my current medical condition and pain level. She quickly recommended injections as the only treatment option. I was not comfortable making an immediate decision and asked for time to think about it. After seeking a second opinion from other medical professionals, I was advised not to proceed, especially since the injection was described as having risks and offering only temporary pain relief. Later, when my back pain became severe, I contacted the clinic to ask for some form of pain relief or guidance. Instead of offering any help, the staff responded very rudely, declined to provide any medication, and canceled my upcoming appointment solely because I was not interested in injections. I was explicitly told that they “only do injections,” that no pain medication would be prescribed, and that I should go back to my primary care provider. This experience made it clear that patient care here is extremely limited and inflexible. Based on how I was treated, I would not return to this clinic and would not recommend it to others seeking comprehensive or compassionate pain management.

Over the past few months I have been going to the Albany office. I started with an extensive phone conversation with practice manager Luisa, then on to appointments with Dr. Ferrillo, Brent Smith, NP, and Dr. Levy. I have been beyond thankful for what they have done for me. Brent Smith is a gem. He is compassionate, and caring and never seems rushed or bothered by my questions. It feels like he truly cares. I am thankful to have found this practice!!
