About this clinic
Seeds of Change, a neuromodulation clinic in Amherst, NY, specializes in Low Energy Neurofeedback System (LENS) Neurofeedback therapy. LENS is an FDA-cleared neuromodulation tool that aims to help the brain reset maladaptive patterns without active participation from the patient. The clinic addresses anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, autism spectrum presentations, sleep disturbance, migraine, brain fog, and emotional dysregulation through individualized neurofeedback protocols. Sessions are brief and passive, and the clinic reports that clinical changes often emerge within the first session and persist after treatment concludes. The practice also offers individual psychotherapy and online educational courses alongside its neuromodulation services, supporting an integrated approach to brain health and emotional wellness.
Working with Cheryl was a great experience. The Neurofeedback session started with some talk therapy/learning about why you came. Then you get hooked up, it’s short, simple, yet the result was amazing. It takes a couple sessions, and to explain the benefit, it allows you to find the feeling of relaxation, or calmness, and then post-therapy, you can choose if you want that feeling, or the old feeling of stress and pain. It’s not easy to explain, but worth trying if you’re looking to change something and feel, maybe, stuck.
