5 years ago I had an accident at work I met with dr.Kim said I am good candidate for stem cell procedure as my knees on mri showed bone to bone and an injury on right knee.I was offered knee replacement first at ortho my but I listened to dr. Kim and trusted him .After procedure I was so much in pain . Only day later I got script for pain killer.No follow up on his behalf but he took $6000 right away.As I came to see him he asked me to band one knee I couldn’t it just didn’t work. Today I am 3 years after two knee replacements by ortho ny great care and follow up .Knee replacement is out patients with few month of physical therapy but it does work .Stem cell might work for people that are not bone to bone for me it didn’t work .I want people to know that knee replacement works .

I wrestle division 1 out of state. After suffering a labrum tear my trainer, along with the team doctor recommended surgery. Looking for options that would reduce my time out of competition, Dr. Kim was recommended by a family friend. I was incredibly impressed by the attention to detail and bedside manner of Dr Kim. He went above and beyond to ensure that I understood every aspect of the procedure. He even used a whiteboard to diagram answers for some of my questions. My experience at Richard Kim Medicine has been very positive. Dr Kim is a consummate professional who can communicate complex technical information in a very understandable way. He takes all the time you need to answer the many questions you may have about stem cell therapy. His staff of young professionals are very competent and caring and always courteous. Several years ago I began to have problems with both of my knees. Over that time period, I had Synvisc shots. Last November, the shots stopped working and I was in tremendous pain. I met with an orthopedic doctor who looked at my X-rays and said I was bone on bone and needed them replaced. I told the doctor that I was meeting with Dr. Kim about stem. I was informed to save my money as that procedure did not work. I met with Dr. Kim who said I was a good candidate. I had a MRI and I was not bone on bone, it showed space. So on May 1st I had stem in my left knee and May 30th in my right knee. I was off all restrictions at the end of July. I could bike long distances, dance, hike mountains, garden, walk miles, all with no pain. I was able to live life to the fullest again. I can’t say enough positive things about Dr. Kim. He is truly one of a kind. He is the real deal, caring, compassionate, honest, and upfront about the procedure. His staff is the same as well. If you are considering stem, I highly recommend Dr. Kim. You will not be sorry. To think I could have had knee replacement surgery and spent months recuperating, is mind blowing when stem works. Thank you Dr. Kim for giving my life back!

I thought I would have to live with back pain the rest of my life. I am 60 years old and have suffered from degenerative disc disease for the past 8 years with significant debilitating pain in the past two years. It got to the point where an hour or so of activity in a day would result in severe pain and rest the remainder of the day. I then learned of Dr. Kim and his stem cell therapy and how he had been able to help people live pain free. I am a skeptic and assumed it would not work for me, however, after visit for a consult he was very positive and convincing and gave me hope. I went through the procedure in August 2024 and completed the physical therapy through October. Every week after the procedure I noticed more things I could do until there came a point that I noticed I wasn’t always thinking about my back pain. I am fully recovered and now live back pain free and can do all the things I want to do. It is amazing to have found Dr. Kim and had the opportunity to change the path of my life.
