About this clinic

Elevate Dynamics Physical Therapy, a regenerative physical medicine clinic in Massapequa, specializes in shockwave therapy alongside conventional physical therapy and trigger-point treatment for musculoskeletal injuries and performance limitations. The one-on-one attention Matt provides makes a real difference. The sessions were engaging and never felt repetitive. Matt knows how to keep things interesting while also knowing when to push you and when to ease up, which builds trust and helps you feel safe. That made it easier to stay engaged, try more over time, and feel more comfortable moving. Being able to share questions or updates between sessions and get a real response helped keep the work going outside the clinic. Matt is professional, personable, and genuinely enjoyable to work with. I looked forward to sessions because I knew I’d make progress and have a good time. I finished feeling more confident and with a solid foundation to keep progressing on my own, knowing I’d gladly return to benefit from Matt’s expertise again.

If you’re looking to finally get rid of that nagging pain and get your life back, Matt is the person to see. I came in with elbow pain from CrossFit. I couldn’t even grip things without pain, and picking up my kid would flare up my elbow. Instead of telling me to completely stop working out, Matt believes that “movement is medicine.” He helped me modify my training so I could keep working out safely — and my elbow fully recovered. What truly sets Matt apart is his one-on-one model. You get a full hour of direct, hands-on treatment — no rotating between multiple patients and no factory feel. Every session is completely customized to your injury and fitness goals. He also broke down my squat and deadlift mechanics, corrected faulty movement patterns, and gave me targeted mobility work to prevent future injuries. I leave every session feeling stronger, empowered, and ready for my next workout. If you have a nagging injury, stop waiting. Highly recommend Matt.

This is not the review I planned on writing and honestly I should’ve written one over a year ago. I came to see Matt in May of 2024 following a second back injury. Doctors had wanted to perform a second, more extensive surgery and I wanted to try and avoid it. I worked with Matt for 5 months. We succeeded, no surgery, but the benefits didn’t end there. He works 1:1 with his patients, and not doing just the typical stretching and PT routines. He focused on strengthening not only my back and core but also focused on single leg strength. I’ll admit the workouts were sometimes brutal and I didn’t think I could do them, but he reassured me, pushed me and I always felt safe in his care. I continued following his plan after we ended our PT sessions. Fast forward 14 months and I have just shattered my ankle in 3 places. I have 14 screws and 2 plates now to stabilize the joint. Had it not been for Matt and our sessions last summer I would NOT be able to get through this injury like I am. I only have one working leg currently as I cannot bear weight on the other. I can get up and down from chairs easily, (think pistol squats), I can support my entire body with my arms and lift my 7lb casted leg on and off the bed/couch with ease. So, this Thanksgiving week, I am thankful for Matt and his care for the entire person. It will probably be a few months from now, but I will be back to put in the work again.
