Kemper Cognitive Wellness

My wife has been dealing with cognitive decline for over 4 years. She was going down the path of conventional hospital base treatment plans for over 4 years. Which for the most part were based on big pharmaceutical companies, big insurance companies, hospital systems and government funded medicare. During this time period, she was not getting better. Just in a slow decline. I’m by no means saying that the doctors my wife received treatment from where doing anything wrong or were outright bad doctors. Just the opposite, they were all doing their trained jobs and did their best to slow down my wife’s progress into Alzheimer’s. Slowing down the progress of Alzheimer’s, is the key point here. There was never any talk or treatment plans that focused on stopping the progress or reversing the progress of Alzheimer’s. Then we find out about Kemper Cognitive Wellness from a friend. Thank God, we now have another approach for dealing with Alzheimer's disease. My wife spent almost 5 hours during her first visited with Dr Bergman the head of Kemper Cognitive Wellness. Not only did he determine, yes she does have Alzheimer’s, he also is investigating other underlying health conditions that need to be addressed that could be complicating her cognitive condition. We are now on the path of improvement. Kemper Cognitive Wellness is not just Dr Bergman, he has a great support staff that will lead you through the diet changes you will need to make, improving your physical fitness and much more. I call them our Angels. Fighting cognitive decline is not a one pill/one size fits all remedy, it’s a process that I feel is changing my wife’s life for the better. Alzheimer’s is not a disease that you fight on your own, it takes family and medical professionals who are willing to think out side the box of current medical standards. I was fortunate enough to be one of a group to participate in the brain trials offered by Kemper cognitive wellness. My journey started officially in November of 2024. Dr. Bergman and his dedicated staff are nothing short of amazing. Dr. Bergman's. Depth of knowledge as it related to my needs was nothing I've ever experienced with any other physician. A shout out to all the staff as they are very resourceful, knowledgeable and accommodating. Though my trial is over and with positive outcome, I will continue with Kemper cognitive/ Dr. Bergman as a functional medicine client

I feel very fortunate to have been accepted into Kemper Cognitive Wellness's dementia reversal trial. I wasn’t sure what to expect at first but was quickly impressed by how thorough their approach was. They ran tests that no other doctor had ever done, and I learned so much about my health and how to improve it. What stands out most is the team. Everyone that works there is kind, committed, and very knowledgeable. It has been an incredibly positive and eye-opening experience.
