I have been seeing her for years. She listened when other doctors let my hormone imbalance fall through the cracks. Other doctors tried to throw antidepressants at me while she actually ran tests and took the time needed to find the right balance for me. She’s been so thorough, checking bloodwork regularly. She asks a lot of questions and is always following up about any personal thing that is going on in my life.

Years ago Dr Ruth Miller misdiagnosed me without doing appropriate tests. I carried that diagnosis for over 25 years, before being correctly diagnosed with narcolepsy. If I wasn't such a strong person, she could of ruined my life as narcolepsy is a difficult disorder to live with. Yes, I was depressed but the fact that she didn't bother to find out why is the problem. She dropped the ball big time! I was finally correctly diagnosed and my life has been somewhat normal the last 6 years. The depression is gone now. It's amazing what a correct diagnosis can do! Depression goes along with narcolepsy because the exhaustion of narcolepsy wears on a person and makes life extremely difficult. A family member has now been diagnosed with narcolepsy and is on medication to help him. I'm so glad he had a good doctor from the beginning that knew to send him for a sleep study. Hopefully he won't have to spend any time depressed since he has been correctly diagnosed at a young age. Maybe now that I have written this review, I can turn lose of the anger I have felt all of these years for Dr Miller not doing her job and causing me to go through so many years miserable.

Me my mom and husband went to her. Please hear me out do NOT go to this doctor! We had a horrible horrible experience with her and it caused big problems in our marriage the things she said to us. It would take too long to explain but please don’t put yourself through going to her! Save yourself!

I have NEVER taken the time to do any reviews such as this but I thought this was necessary to make other people aware BEFORE they make the same mistake I did. I was very excited to find a Dr that offers bio-identical hormone replacement therapy so I was very eager to meet Dr. Miller. I am 50 years old, had my first PAP at 16 so it’s obviously not my first time i’ve been examined. I’ve had three children and have seen various Obgyn’s due to moving with my husband’s job & NEVER in my lifetime had such an AWFUL experience!! Upon examination, Dr. Ruth Miller physically hurt me due to her shaking hands. To be honest her shaking hands was a concern of mine when I met her but we humans, don't listen to our intuition sometimes and I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt. When she inserted her hands/implement, I gasped in pain, told her she hurt me and she said “ I shouldn’t have” and I agreed and told her “yes it shouldn’t have hurt but I am in pain!” Prior to appointment, I had no irritation, no viruses, I was just going in for a normal Pap smear. I was still hurting after my appointment on ride home so I called once I got home & received their answer machine. Next morning I was still hurting & called her office multiple times and always got their voicemail so after no pick ups, I left messages to have Dr. Ruth Miller call me back to see how to rid the pain. I never received a call back so I called my primary care physician (due to me thinking I might get an infection so he put me on anabiotic because he felt bad I was not getting any aftercare from her). It’s been many months since the examination appointment (I obviously canceled my follow up appointment for test results). I’ve called multiple times the first few months & nobody ever picks up the phone and when they did they pretend it’s the first they have heard of my experience ( even though I spoke to to the office staff twice in detail about the situation and left a few voicemails pleading for a callback from Dr. Miller). They are completely disregarding and ignoring me. All I wanted was a brief phone call from Dr. Miller regarding the issue to discuss what happened and to get some sort of apology. For a week after the exam, my urine burnt and couldn’t have any sexual activity with my husband due to the pain. iAll I wanted was somebody to acknowledge there was it incident & say, “I’m so sorry” and that never happened (probably if they called that would show admittance of fault). Now I’m getting text messages and emails of payment past due & invoices in the mail. It’s not the amount due, that’s bothersome, It’s the principle that they didn’t care enough about their patient to do any follow up. She may be a great doctor when it comes to knowledge but in practice, I would steer clear of her touching you. As for her hands shaking, I didn’t ask, but obviously it’s some sort of health issue she has going on. I feel sorry for her in that regard. I’m just telling you my personal experience. Many months have gone by, obviously they’re gonna try to sweep it under the rug and pretend I don’t exist & this bill will probably go to collections so obviously I’m going to have to pay for the horrible treatment I’ve received to keep my credit good. They have received great insurance payment and you think the professional thing to do would be to waive the amount due (which is just a measly $157) due to my inconvenience I’ve experienced but nope. I wanted EVERYONE to see how unethical they are & to save somebody else a situation like I had. I will be calling the health department and also Innovative Pharmacy that have worked with her on Compound RX’s to let them know that she should not be recommended. Again, she might have been a great doctor in the past but clearly she has some sort of involuntary hand movement and should not be physically examining patients at this time in her life. I’m sure she’s a great person. I have a special needs child so I get it. Everybody deserves a chance to make a living but when you hurt people that’s the time to give it up.

Dr. Miller is an excellent doctor. I have gone to her for a few years and she has always listened and included me in my treatment plan. I have thyroid issues and have been to lots of doctors and endocrinologists. Dr. Miller is the best by far. She has given me my life back. I am grateful for her treatment. She is caring and kind. She takes her time with each patient. She doesn't have a one fit solution for everyone. She works to get you back to your old healthy self. She doesn't treat to cover up symptoms, she treats to heal you. She is the best choice for a doctor and I am so grateful to have found her.
