If you're seeking to enhance your quality of life and need assistance with managing various challenges such as eating disorders, anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, and more, this is the place to turn to. I’ve read some of the negative reviews and I don’t agree with people saying that team of professionals don’t really help. Truth be told that if you’re going anywhere expecting someone to fix you then that is the root of the problem. You have to WANT to help yourself first, putting in the hard work that it takes before anyone can help you. My experience with them was exceptional and far surpassed my expectations. Making the decision to seek their help was one of the best choices I've made in selecting my healthcare team. The fact that my family and friends have noticed changes in my behavior and actions demonstrates their expertise and effectiveness. I've never encountered a facility where so many therapists, the doctor, nurse, and administrative staff work seamlessly as a cohesive team. Elizabeth, Rob, Laura, Star, Stuart, Jennifer, Trina, Mitch, Danielle, Shelby, and Justin will make things happen for you, again, if you’re putting in the work! Their administrative team, Angel and Andrea are the absolute BEST! Their nurse, Monica has me remembering my medications by memory including the dosages/frequencies. And Dr. Raj is authentic, he listens, and will keep it real with you. Therefore, if you're committed to making positive changes and gaining control over the issues I mentioned, this organized team of professionals can assist you in achieving your goals. Thank me later!

Zero stars if I could.
I went to the Transformation Center in Memphis for IOP starting in mid-August, three days a week for about 2 ½ weeks. In that entire time, I only got two individual sessions. Group sessions were hit or miss — some were okay, but many felt like a complete waste because every time I tried to share, I was redirected to “bring it up in individual therapy.” Problem is, you only get one individual session a week. So basically, I felt silenced instead of supported.
Then, during one of my rare individual sessions, my counselor and the director cornered me. Instead of encouragement, they bombarded me, saying I’d made “no improvement” and that I needed to step up to PHP. That made no sense — my meds are already handled by an outside psychiatrist, and if I truly needed more help, why would their only options be jump to PHP or get discharged completely? Think about that — they claim I need a higher level of care, yet they’re fine with kicking me out entirely.
The director, in particular, was unbelievably rude and cold. She didn’t listen, didn’t care what I had to say, and spoke down to me like I was a child. It felt less like mental health care and more like being pushed around until I agreed with them.
I left feeling worse than when I started. This place does not care about helping people — they care about control and pushing their own agenda. If you actually want compassion, understanding, and a team willing to work with you, do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. Even though all the paperwork, you sign states that you’re entitled to a treatment plan that works best for you, They don’t stick to it.
There were obviously a few counselors that were in there that were Great during group sessions, but some fell short. At the end of the day, I did not let the director bully me into going into PHP and I asked to be discharged.

The Transformation Center quite literally saved my life. I could not have asked for better care during my time as a patient there. The staff and care team took very good care of me. I felt like my caregivers truly cared about my well-being and happiness. Over the months of programming there, I established some great relationships with the care team and other patients. They helped guide me from the most difficult and painful time of my life to the most happy and wonderful time of my life. I would not be here today if it had not been for the Transformation Center. I was truly transformed by this place! If you need help like I did, I'd highly recommend this wonderful place!
I was very apprehensive about going to a mental health facility. The staff here is amazing with assisting me with my mental health issues and seeing myself in a different light. Angel and Andrea are the first two staff members I met, they helped my with all the paperwork, insurance, and leave from work. Anything I needed they were there. I really appreciate and miss the entire team. I felt welcomed.

Glad there is a place in town for people with eating disorders. There has been a change in management and the atmosphere is different now. The old management was wonderful. I'm glad I attended under the old staff. Nancy and the other therapists were great. Individual and group therapy helped a lot. Sue was a great nutritionist. Compassionate and understood the struggles I was dealing with. Still would recommend this place if you have an eating disorder and good private insurance just wish it was like it used to be.
