Xenia has been a Godsend. I have been to so many doctors that spend 10 minutes with you max and don't really listen to what you are saying. When I first met her at my PCPs office because I needed several referrals, she took notes on everything I said and made intelligent and thoughtful suggestions and it really got my attention. I have studied functional medicine myself as a chiropractor, and I thought to myself, "Oh, she gets it!" So when I finally decided to get some help with HRT (since I can't prescribe it myself), I knew I wanted to work with her. She's been so incredibly helpful and I feel so much better after just a couple of months. She goes out of her way to look for discount cards and more affordable options on the things she prescribes. She is very quick to respond to messages on the portal and is kind, thoughtful, and patient. I've referred my own patients to her and they have all reported back that they are getting the same quality care that I've been receiving. In more than one way, I feel like she has saved me and given me a new lease on life. I highly, highly recommend her.

I worked with Xenia for a few months to try to figure out some gut issues I'm having. She seemed knowledgeable and I chose her after doing a good amount of research into practitioners in my area. I took some tests and didn't get much actionable advice so I asked her what else I can be doing. She sent me a message that seemed like a template she sends to new patients to sign up for an intake. I asked her if it was meant for me and reminded her that we had been working together. She said I only paid for testing and so she didn't consider me a patient, and to be a patient I have to pay $500 for an intake. I was taken aback by that but said, okay, I'll pay for the new patient intake because I really just need to get treated ASAP. She disregarded my request and when I remarked that it felt like she was avoiding helping me, she basically said that I should find another practitioner. Very unpleasant experience overall. UPDATE to reply to Xenia's response: Correct - I was under the impression that Xenia was my health care provider and as she mentioned, she surprised me by telling me several months into working together that she did not consider me a patient. Though surprised, I understood the need for an intake and said that I was okay with doing one. It's the coldness in the way she told me that I wasn't a patient that lead to the shock. Then, she subsequently made two suggestions, à la, if you don't like it, you can find another provider. I iterated that I wanted her as a provider and asked for an intake ASAP, at which point she said she was fully booked and made it difficult for me to schedule an appointment. Xenia, you were rude and dismissive. I'm not sure why you decided to turn on me the way you did but you won't lie here online about it without my account and I'll post our conversation online if needed - you left a willing and trusting patient hanging and what's worse, you treated me with disrespect.
