About this clinic

Neurofeedback of Cypress, in Cypress, Texas, specializes in neurofeedback therapy for anxiety, depression, and ADHD/ADD in children and adults. The clinic offers a non-invasive, non-pharmacological approach to these conditions, using real-time brain-activity monitoring to support self-regulation of neural patterns. Neurofeedback is a form of biofeedback that trains individuals to recognize and modify their own brain-wave activity, with the goal of reducing symptom severity and improving functional outcomes. Treatment is individualized following an initial assessment, and sessions typically occur over several weeks or months. The practice positions itself as an alternative or complement to medication-based care for patients seeking to address neurological and behavioral concerns through direct brain-wave training rather than pharmaceutical intervention.

At first I was unsure on how neurofeedback worked or how it would work on me/affect me but I'm happy to say my questions were always answered and in a way I could understand and I felt better as the sessions continued! I do feel an improvement in my mental health. I'm glad I took a chance on this and I appreciate everyone involved who worked on the sessions with me (and who were patient with me when I ran into traffic)

I started neurofeedback not long ago. I discovered that my brain was producing almost no alpha waves when they did the EEG. I had no idea! I think this might explain the many extreme symptoms I've had for years. I am very hopeful that this therapy will help me sleep, and reduce my stress, anxiety, and inflammation. I can't wait to see where this takes me!
