Dr. Cohen and his team took me seriously, listened to me, constructed a plan catered to my needs, and completely changed my life. I am the healthiest I’ve ever been. Finding a good doctor and team can be challenging - but that 20 yr search finally ended here. Not only is Dr Cohen attentive but his team provides actual support. Jared is ALWAYS responsive and extremely helpful. I cannot recommend enough. Great group.

At my first appointment, Dr. Cohen was able to diagnose me with EDS. He knew within seconds that I had it but he still spent the next 2 hours confirming his diagnosis by talking with me and asking questions. He never once made me feel like I was stupid and making up my symptoms like nearly every other doctor I’ve seen. Dr. Cohen is extremely professional and knowledgeable. He has a lot of empathy and actually cares about his patients and finding a treatment plan that works for them. I highly recommend Dr. Cohen for anyone struggling to find a diagnosis and has had doctors dismiss their symptoms.

If I could give this practice 0 stars, I would. Do not join their pain management program unless you’re prepared to deal with the director, Philip, and his massive ego. I was kicked out of the program after leaving early from a ketamine infusion—despite the fact that I was violently ill, dizzy, and throwing up for hours (something both Philip and Dr. Cohen were fully aware of). Instead of speaking to me directly, Philip had someone else deliver the news that I was no longer welcome. That’s cowardly and unprofessional. I even cancelled one of my sessions in advance—after asking if it was okay. If their staff had told me cancellations weren’t allowed, I wouldn’t have cancelled. I wasn’t trying to disrespect their schedule. I’m a patient in severe pain (level 10 daily), and sometimes I physically cannot travel 40 minutes each way, five days a week. That’s not an attack on the program—it’s the reality of living with chronic pain. My leaving early and rescheduling may have been inconvenient, but kicking me out without explanation was unnecessary and cruel. Philip made it about his ego, not about patient care. If your program can’t handle the needs of people in actual pain, maybe you’re in the wrong business. If Philip had wanted to accommodate my needs, he could have; he and Dr. Cohen simply chose not to because, in Philip's words, he does not want "patients to dictate the schedule of the program." I did not want to "dictate" my schedule, but I was violently throwing up after the infusion, so I had no choice but to go home. Dr. Cohen might be a decent doctor, but the entire setup feels like an insurance-driven mill. The only thing they seem to care about is pushing patients through the program, billing insurance, and protecting their pride. Compassion and flexibility don’t exist here. Please, do yourself a favor: run the other way. This place doesn’t care about you or your pain—they only care about control and money.
