I have been treated by Covenant Wound Care for several months. Dr. Cox is superb. I highly recommend him. One of the best doctors in Lubbock. However, my last visit was with NP Reschman-Lopez. I was very dissatisfied with her care. She did not read or review my chart. The nurse tried to take blame by saying it was her fault for not opening the chart. I responded the NP is responsible for reading and opening the chart not the nurse. Then the NP told me my wound was not a wound and I did not belong in this office and then left the room. She spent less than 3 minutes with me. Her demeanor was rude and dismissive. She told me to go to a dermatologist. I was on medication that needed to be addressed. I had the nurse go to ask her. The nurse came back with a sticky note of instructions. I expressed my dissatisfaction to which the nurse told me to have a nice day. I’m assuming she told the NP I was upset. It was cowardly and unprofessional for her to not return to the room to address my concerns. Dr. Taryn Mathews

Dr. Cox and his staff are the best, I had severe cellulitis that put me in the hospital, the nurses, and P.A. was with me from the beginning. My wounds are healed , I highly recommend this wound care facility.

My elderly mother had a bad gash that was not healing. I was extremely happy with the care and the kindness they showed toward her during the 4 week process of going in once a week.
