TMI Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Surgery

I visited this **sports-medicine clinic** three times for severe right shoulder pain—twice with P.A. Haley Girard and once with Dr. Hendawi. Despite being in visible distress and fresh from the ER, I was repeatedly told it was *frozen shoulder*. They performed an MRI but said it showed nothing, gave two cortisone injections, and advised starting physical therapy. In reality, my **biceps tendon was detached**, and PT at that stage could have caused serious damage. Weeks later, another orthopedic surgeon diagnosed **calcific tendinitis, severe bursitis, and a displaced biceps tendon**, all of which required surgery. This clinic advertises its work with professional athletes, but my pain was minimized and dismissed. I couldn’t help but feel that my concerns weren’t taken seriously because I’m a woman. I strongly urge anyone experiencing unresolved pain to **get a second opinion**. If I hadn’t, I would still be suffering today. Thanks to my new surgeon, my shoulder has been repaired, my pain is nearly gone, and I’m finally healing.

My experience at the Mansfield and Arlington has been awesome. I went to a couple other doctors that couldn’t figure out my problem, but Justin did! Office staff, therapist and doctors are very knowledgeable and explain things thoroughly in a way I can understand. They are so Patience, kind And caring .I highly recommend You won’t be disappointed.
