Dr Ortiz is always most professional and straightforward in her manner. I greatly appreciate that. You’re put at ease when she explains results that are less than favorable. She then outlines a “game plan” on how to best approach the situation. She tells you what options you have and allows you to decide what you feel comfortable with. Her staff is friendly and efficient which means that you won’t be sitting in the lobby for hours. I highly recommend Dr Ortiz.

I can not belive how bad these people were when you apperently owe $11 for a year that's in collections that my insurance says I don't have to pay but the manager of this location will not allow you to see the doctor because you of the $11. Wow worst thing ever. I should of paif it but why when I'm told by my insurance that everything has been paid even copay of $40 each time. This place falls super low for turning a patient away owning $11 and have been a patient for 3 yrs now, plus talking to patients infront in the lobby with everyone there stating for $11 I'm in collections ok great tell me and let your collections department reach out to me, but not letting me see the doctor or get my lab work done is insane. The manager seemed very pridefull stating no we won't see u if you don't pay the $11 and when I asked to speak to the doctor or the PA that was denied plus she even gave me the incorrect email for the doctor. I guess the doctor don't know what's going on and how they push their clients away. Now since i didnt go in to my appointment because of $11 that is owed God know why, they will cancel my appointment as me not showing up and now they will charge $25. The front lobby is not a place or time to be talking to a patient about collections and not allowing them to see the doctor or get labs done. There is a collection department for that reason but refusing service for $11 is insanely stupid. I sure hope Dr Ortiz know the kind of reputation this facility will get because of this. The doctors may be awesome and great but why continue going to facility when the manager doesn't know to to speak to people and the front ladies will act as debt collectors instead of being medical record etc personal. Worst experience of my life in an endocrinologist office. I will go back and pay the $11 just so I can go and see the doctor or PA so they understand what type of manager and front people they have and that they want to be debt collectors instead of helping people. Ohhh now because I went to pay my debt of $11 from 3 yrs ago that all of a sudden came up, because I have never been charged this before and because I made a review and was in the lobby talking to then wanting to know exacly what the $11 were for they closed my account. Wow everyone because of what this manager at this place is doing if there is say 1000 patients in this place and everyone is being charged $11 for not knowing what the charge is for where is that money going to. Is the Manager keeping it or the office staff because if you add that up $11 for each patient is a lot of money. I had never had an issue with this doctors office, doctor or staff but the minute I ask what I'm beimg charged for and making it aware in the lobby since they make sure also everyone knows your debt with them, they now have a problem with me and don't want me back? Very intresting!!! I guess i must of said something to them that really triggerd them or people now may know to watch out what they getting charged. If this office has 1000 patients and each one gets charged $11 without knowing, that's $11k your talking about. Nice hope the manager is happy. And hope the doctor can realize that the front lobby is not the right place or time to talk to clients/patients about their debt or be debt collectors let that department deal with it. Dr Ortiz and PA yall were great sorry your staff couldn't understand that what they did is not ok. You don't turn away a patient for oweing $11 after telling them that if it don't get resolved with the insurance I'll pay it. But they rather not having as a patient abd close my account with your office because I pointed out the Truth!!!! How disappointing!!!

Dr Ortiz she is very professional and knowledgeable. I felt like I was in great hands and would highly recommend her. The staff are very efficient and poliet. Thank You Dr Ortiz for making me feel good about my thyroid situation.
