I have been with Dr Zhao since she was with Texas Pain Physicians, unfortunately I had to switch my Dr due to my insurance which was a bummer. Yet again the Dr I was with could not keep my pain at bay like Dr Zhao so as soon as I was able to change insurance plan I found out where Dr Zhao was practicing at and I immediately scheduled an appt. I love Dr Zhao and I tell her that at every treatment day. She helped me get through my Chemo day which was very tough. Now that I’m out of chemo but still on medication that increases my state of pain, she has still changed my body pain, my mental state and physically drastically. I came to her not able to walk or stand without pain. My foot pain was unbearable at times. Her treatment plan included injecting my feet and I am now able to walk and even workout which I cried to her about previously. I’m so grateful for Dr Zhao.She always listens to how you feel and plan your treatment around your pain. I also love the anesthesiologist Cathy. I am a hard stick when it come to finding my veins and I only have 1 arms and hand she can access due to previously having breast cancer. I just Love them both!! Pain institute has gain 2 great providers .

I have been seeing Dr. Zhao for 4 years and she is best. She listens to me and I never feel rushed. The staff is always friendly & professional. Dr Zhao keeps me out of pain & for me that’s a plus. If you’re in any type of pain come visit I promise she will take care of you.

Dr Zhao and staff have been able to give me the ability to continue to teach, travel around the world, and enjoy my time with family without constant pain. The Nurse Practioner is rude and definitely does give the treatment as Dr Zhoa. I have seen her twice and I have wanted to walk out both times.
