Dr Sharpless, Alison and all the staff always make me feel welcome, they take their time to listen to my concerns. Unfortunately, over more than a year of pellet treatments I still don’t feel much of an improvement in my menopause symptoms and I gained 15 lbs; To lose some I had to start a low carb diet, calories restriction and intermittent fasting as the hormones really have changed my fat storage and I exercise at least one hour per day. All of these sacrifices to stabilize my weight, that’s a lot! I have been thin all my life and never ate processed food so that’s a big change and not a pleasant one. I know Dr Sharpless tries his best to fix my issues but after all this time I really expected and had so much hope for more positive results. I usually feel some benefits for about a month but then the pellets wear off very quickly and I feel like crap with no sleep, hot flashes and no energy for two months waiting anxiously until my next pellet insertion. I know the team is doing their best with me but so far the results are not consistent and it’s extremely frustrating and depressing. I had huge hopes as I was told that I would feel like I am 20 again but that’s not the case for me. Just be aware Biote Pellets do not work for every woman, at least so far with me.. I will keep updating this review if something drastic changes in my situation. Update: Dr Sharpless put me on HRT cream, he is currently still adjusting my dosage so it’s still not perfect but I can already see a huge change: my weight is now like in my twenties, I do OMAD but I know this type of hormones delivery also helps with my weight management. Since I am on HRT cream, I have lost extremely quickly my 15 lbs that I gained on pellets. I have much more energy, some days, not all the time, I still have a few of the menopause symptoms but it’s nothing compared to how I was a year ago. My life has changed, I am feeling ALIVE again! So I am sure very soon we will be at the right dosage that will relieve any of my residual menopause symptoms. I just wish Dr Sharpless would have changed the delivery method earlier. I stayed with Dr Sharpless after seeing three different hormones specialists and I am very happy I did. My husband is also treated by Dr Sharpless with testosterone cream and he is very happy with the results. In his case, the treatment worked right away.

Dr Sharpless is very educated on hormone therapy! The staff is very nice! I’m glad I found them! The pellets make me feel 20 again
