Transcend Dental Health

I had a few Mercury fillings put in when I was a kid and had learned they could cause issues later in life, especially if the tooth cracks or breaks and I really wanted to have them removed. After researching and trying to find a place that was certified to do the removal, I came across Transcend Dental on a Google recommendation. When I arrived for my initial consultation, I was greeted with warm smiles and professionalism. I had some images taken and talked in length with Dr. Chang. He did a thorough examination and put me at ease about one concern I also had about an old root canal and did a simple fix for it same day. He went into great detail about the possible dangers of having old Mercury fillings and the process in which they go through to remove them. Both teeth with the fillings showed fractures had already started and could lead to the possibility of further damage which could cause the Mercury to seep into my system. I was very impressed with his knowledge and the time he took to listen to my questions and concerns of having the procedure done. I got a cleaning same day and booked my appointment to have the fillings removed. Had the procedure done yesterday and out of all the dental experiences I have had over the years, this by far was the best! I really like the fact that this practice is Holistic and the extra steps they take to make you feel comfortable and to help your body heal. It was actually like going to the spa while getting your teeth worked on! I was in very little pain during and almost no pain after. Thank you, Dr. Chang and the entire team at Transcend Dental for taking good care of me!

I am so happy I found this clinic! Dr. Chang was incredibly thorough in explaining gum and bone health and took the time to answer all of my questions. Digna was also a huge help in helping me understand holistic dental health. Special shoutout to Cassandra - she was amazing and removed all of the tartar from my teeth with zero pain. She was so gentle and far better than other hygienists I've seen in the past. On top of the great care, the office is efficient at processing insurance claims. I've lived in the area for five years and have tried two other dentists, but I think Transcend Dental Health will be my last stop!

5 stars doesn’t even cut it for this dental office. The dentist and the entire staff goes above and beyond. They made me feel extremely welcomes and cared for. I even made a comment apologizing for how long my procedure was taking and without a beat they replied, “we have all the time for you,@ and they are genuine. You can tell they love their roll and that is felt. I was so nervous before getting there too. I felt like I was hanging out in my living room with the top notch care and attention to detail they gave. If you’re searching for your dentist, I promise you, he’s here. Oh, and if the drive is of concern to you, I live downtown, and I choose to drive to Round Rock and will continue! Thank you so much!
