After surgery on my wrist, I looked into HBOT to help with healing. The staff at Cedar City Hyperbarics were very helpful and patient in answering all of my questions and ensuring me in a no-pressure way that this was right for me. After starting my sessions I felt pain relief, reduced swelling and inflammation, and range of motion in my fingers were coming back quick. I also felt mental clarity and deeper sleep at night. They provide clean and calm atmosphere and were very flexible to fit my schedule. I would highly recommend anyone looking into Hyperbolic treatments to reach out to them.

After my first treatment at Cedar City Hyperbarics, the swelling went down noticeably. After the second treatment, the improvement was even more dramatic. With the swelling reduced, I experienced much less pain and gained back a lot of my movement. The staff was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about my recovery. I’m so impressed with how quickly I saw results. Highly recommend Cedar City Hyperbarics to anyone dealing with injuries or inflammation!

Bottom line: This has been the best treatment I have experienced for my back. I’ve tried several remedies over the past 15 years, and this has help quicker and more effectively than any other. I know the staff personally and they are very professional and will be able to answer any questions or concerns you have. I highly recommend trying this. Especially if you haven’t been able to find relief any other way. The long story: I have multiple herniated disks in my lower back and they become very aggravated two or three times a year. The last time it popped out, I had to be carried up the stairs of my home and transported by Gold Cross to the ER. I was in more pain than I thought possible. It even hurt to breath. I spoke with Josh about trying the chamber. He explained how it helps heal the body by forcing oxygen deep into the body using a pressure chamber. I scuba dive, so this resonates with me. Most of the training you get for scuba diving is trying to avoid the bad effects of nitrogen being forced into your body while you are under pressure from the water depth. I was willing to try anything at that point. After being bed ridden for five days and unable to walk without assistance, I made my first appointment. First Visit: It was difficult for me to get into the chamber. Josh was patient and helped me get in and comfortable. He explained everything to me, so there were no surprises. The first time in the chamber I focused mostly on popping my ears. I tried to focus on how it made me feel, but about 20 minutes into the session I fell asleep. I had not been sleeping well because of the pain, but I was able to relax enough to drift off to sleep. I was awaken when Josh started to depressurize the chamber At first, I didn’t notice the benefits of being in the chamber. It took a couple of days for it to dawn on me that I was able to relax enough to sleep. Second Visit: Between visits, I didn’t notice much difference. My wife said I slept better, but I was so exhausted, and in so much pain, I didn’t notice. The second time through I was able to get into the chamber a little easier. Josh turned on some music for me, which helped with my sense of time. Half way through the session, I needed to stretch out my shoulders and found I was much more flexible than usual. It was very noticeable and I spoke to Josh about it. I decided the next visit I would try to stretch out my back while I was in the chamber. Third Visit: When I went for this visit, I was still packing around a cane. I still was not able to stand upright yet. I was able to get into the chamber much better. More from technique than from pain. I was still in a lot of pain. I waited until the chamber had pressurized and began to stretch. I was able to tuck my knees all the way up into my chest. I was amazed at my range of motion. I felt good in the chamber, but it wasn’t long after that I realized I had overdone myself. By stretching as much as I did, I was in more pain after than when I went in. Fourth Visit: I tried to get into the chamber as soon as possible after I over did myself on the last visit. This time I didn’t try to stretch. I asked for some music and just focused on breathing. I felt very relaxed in the chamber and felt better when I got out Two days later, my back popped back into place. This is the first time in 15 years I had ever have it do that. There was an audible “Pop!” and I felt immediate relief. Usually my back would pop out of place and I would spend two weeks trying to stand upright and two months until I felt normal again. This time I felt immediate relief. It took a few days before I could believe it was real. I very much credit the treatments in the hyperbaric chamber for this. I could not be more pleased with Cedar City Hyperbarics. The staff is great. The chamber didn't fix what was wrong with me, but it sure helped me get out of pain. I highly recommend trying it.
