At age 41, and two years postpartum, I wasn’t familiar with hormone therapy and wasn’t sure whether the changes I was experiencing were lingering postpartum symptoms or possible signs of perimenopause. Wanting answers, I reached out to Dr. Laura Daum at Provo Health. Dr. Daum ordered comprehensive lab work and scheduled a full one-hour consultation to review everything with me in detail. She clearly explained what each result meant and helped me understand where my levels fell compared to what is considered optimal for overall health. I was so impressed by how patient, knowledgeable, and attentive she was throughout the entire process. I never felt rushed. She took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I felt informed and confident about the next steps. Her approach was both thorough and efficient. Such a great experience at Provo Health. Laura Daum, NP was soooo helpful, professional, and caring. She clearly educated me on my health, labs, options and getting started on a plan to address health issues and optimize my health (hormones, deficiencies, autoimmune disorder never before detected by PCP I even saw some months prior, nutrition/dietary modifications/etc).
