Was the front office busy? Yeah. Did they get the job done.. Yeah. Just be patient. But let's talk about Dr. B. I went here at the advice of my ex-wife's friend who is also an excellent Dr. I went twice. During the first visit, the intake person asked a LOT of questions, and it felt like a very thorough questioning. I went back into the waiting area to wait for Dr. B. When I went in to see Dr. B. she read me like a book. 50% of which I had just told the intake nurse, and 50% of things that were. 1. True 2. Not told to the intake nurse 3. Probably had never been said outloud I was floored. She was really good. She gave me some tips and suggestions.. But what really helped is she called it like it was. She gave me the wake up call for me to realize I was in a REALLY bad place and a REALLY bad marriage. Most people don't want to spend the time talking about their therapy, or what is going wrong in their lives. But Dr. B. helped me see where I was, and what I needed to do to get out of an abusive marriage, and find my way to happiness. Don't let these oddball reviews skew you. Give Dr. B. a try. She's great. (And she has kind of a messy office, and from what I've learned about Drs. those are usually the best kind.)

Terrible experience—person scheduling me had to place me on hold multiple times, no patient portal so I had to email PHI, wrong date of birth on superbill. The doctor scoffed at me when I was telling my medical history which is rude. Had to tell my medical history to the nurse then again to the doctor, and it was clear they didn’t read the PHI i emailed them. I was given a different price then what I was charged. I had to follow up twice to get the supplement recommendations (which was just vitamin c and fish oil). Not accommodating for my simple request for them to email the link to the tele visit rather then text due to not being able to hold a phone due to nerve damage. Will not be back. Don’t waste your money or time.

I used to go to Dr Blanchfield for a couple years and she is by far the best psychiatrist I’ve seen. Her practice really takes into consideration all aspects of wellness. No other psychiatrist has had a detailed questionnaire to go through at each visit with a staff member (nurses I believe) prior to meeting with the doctor. But they do this at Blanchfield’s practice. She then is prepared to go through it all in a more focused way when you meet with her (and so are you). Dr. Blanchfield actually listened and sympathized (which feels rare in my experience with psychiatrists), and she didn’t mind when I brought my baby with me to appointments. I was even offered one of the massage rooms to nurse my baby.
