EDS Patient– I saw Dr. Gershon for SI joint dysfunction and prolotherapy treatments. This was the kind of life changing thing. I had suffered for several years with SI pain from movement and positions at rest. I was unable to lay down and would wake up through the night from agonizing pain if I tried. I had to sleep upright in an arm chair for years. I couldn’t sleep in beds. There’s no worse feeling than being so exhausted but dreading every hour before bed. I told Dr. Gershon all I wanted out of prolotherapy was just to be able to sleep in a bed. I was doubtful, yet optimistic and realistic. I had three sessions and it was a complete success. It has given me back so much and has brought back a rest I had needed to feel for so long. My experience with a D.O. before seeing Dr. Gershon was not great. I was not interested in seeing another doctor that I had to prove my pain to or someone who does not understand the evaluation of hypermobile joints. My PT highly recommended Dr. Gershon and I am so grateful I made the decision to see him. He is very skilled in understanding hypermobility. Dr. Gershon allowed me time to explain my pain and asked follow-up questions based on what he needed to know. He was direct in his explanations and gave time for me to process, think-over, and ask questions. He is quiet and reserved, gathers the information he needs, and is very skilled in making his determinations from that. He is always very warm and friendly and very supportive. He gave a full and thorough examination of my joint before we decided on prolo and also at each visit and recheck. At the start of the prolo sessions, he tested the joint and then asked me specifics about what I was feeling in order to best decide where to inject. This stood out to me, as Dr. Gershon was working alongside me, valuing and considering what my body was telling us in making his decisions. At each follow-up he gave the same attention and consideration to what my joint was feeling and made adjustments accordingly. I am truly grateful for his care and all that he has done!

I have been treated for my shoulder pain and back pain by Dr. Gershon and every time has been wonderful. Because of this office, i was finally able to get surgery for a shoulder injury that Navy doctors refused to admit I needed. I just recently had an injection for my back and the process was quick and relatively painless. The staff is wonderful and professional! I highly recommend Dr. Gershon and his staff for anyone who has pain management needs.

I’ve been treated here since 2017. Dr. Gershon and his staff are the best. I’ve had several issues one ended in neck surgery but other doctors weren’t properly diagnosing me. My friend referred me here which was the best advice. Dr. Gershon’s office is very thorough and I’m so glad to be in such good hands.
