I was referred to Dr Grogen by my physical therapist a few months ago. I’ve had a very persistent injury that’s been going on for years. We opted for a diagnostic ultrasound and then moved onto shockwave therapy. Dr grogen is passionate and truly cares about his patients. He is upbeat and gives you all the options without any pressure. After 6 sessions, I am feeling great! In fact I started feeling better after the first but I thrashed my hip pretty good and needed probably more than most. I highly recommend this procedure and facility. If you want a doctor that actually cares this is the place to go :-)

I was referred to Dr Grogan to consult about two injuries that happened concurrently and that were inhibiting my ability to workout and participate in other activities as well as general discomfort. My first meeting was very informative. Dr Grogan spent time discussing what was going on including using ultrasound to look at my injuries. He suggested a course of action and was very upfront about expectations, treatment duration, and pricing. To be honest, I was a little skeptical about the treatment modalities that were offered as I hadn’t had any experience with them before. I told him this and he suggested I take time to think about it, ask my physician their opinions, and of course ask any question of him that came up. Dr Grogan actually followed up a couple days later sharing additional information from clinical trials that helped me understand the evidence for the treatments. I decided to try it out and I’m glad I did. In the end, we decided to treat my lower abdominal injury with shockwave treatment and monitor my bicep tendon injury by ultrasound since I wanted to see how it improved with rest alone. After my first treatment I felt some Improvements but after my second, I had improved enough that I was able to fully engage in all activities. I still had some Discomfort but was able to do everything without further injury. I have just completed my 6th and final treatment (recommended duration based on my injury) and I am so much better. I am 96’t% pain free and have no need to refrain from any activity. This is remarkable because this type of injury typically takes 6 months or longer to get where I’m at in 2 months. A close friend had the same injury a year ago and his recovery with regular PT took 6 months during which he was not able to do very much activity. I am grateful to Dr Grogan for his passion, knowledge, expertise, and honesty. I would recommend anyone at least meet with him to hear your options and come to your own conclusions. As a side note, my elbow that I elected not to treat has improved on its own which I’m grateful for. The thing is though, Dr Grogan would look at it via ultrasound every visit and help me see it improving. This helped me to know that I didn’t need to change course and that I wasn’t overusing it causing more damage. I have appreciated my care and will consult Dr Grogan again in the future without hesitation.

Year’s ago I had an operation to repair a tear in the meniscus of my right knee. The symptoms felt like the knee wouldn’t support my weight due to a moment of intense pain if I took a step with a slight twist. The operation was successful but it took about six months to be totally pain free. Several months ago the symptoms returned and through my GP doctor I learned of a noninvasive procedure. I thought that a noninvasive procedure made sense, lower risk and a shorter time to heal. I was amazed with the results! The first treatment was about half an hour and I was walking without pain immediately. My thanks to the doctor and his very professional team!
