About this clinic

Alaska Center for Pain Relief, a regenerative medicine clinic in Anchorage, offers joint-injection therapy and laser treatment for chronic pain and musculoskeletal conditions. The practice, led by Christopher Gay, MD, focuses on regenerative approaches to pain management rather than pharmaceutical intervention alone. Joint injections—including platelet-rich plasma and other regenerative modalities—are used to support tissue repair and reduce inflammation in affected joints and soft tissues. Laser therapy provides a non-invasive option for pain reduction and tissue healing. The clinic serves patients with chronic pain from injury, osteoarthritis, and age-related degeneration, emphasizing individualized treatment planning. A second location i

I thought I had also found the right doctor. Unfortunately Dr. Gay turned out to be a disappointment. His policies seem to change based on each patient or depending how he feels that day, or whether he likes you or not. He will be rude to you for no apparent reason and when confronted, he just claims "I'm not sure what you mean". He also gets very defensive if there is any type of miscommunication with office staff and just says " that doesn't happen here in my office". If you cannot communicate with your doctor where there is no transparency and is always on the defense when you voice your concerns about anything, Their time is all that matters and act like patients have no life outside their monthly appointments with his office. Instead of working with patients when issues may arise, they just seem to want to inconvenience them as much as possible, especially the office assistance Igor. He seems to make your personal business his business as much as he can. What a shame. Also, If clapped back, there's more to come. Definitely do your research and seek out other specialist.

I could not have asked for a finer Dr! Dr Gay was very professional, courteous, and a down to earth good man. I would highly recommend him along with his assistants (Eli and Mr Thomas) to anyone. I have been in their care for several years now, and my experience with them has been the best. Dr Gay and his staff are well deserving of recognition for the highest quality of care offered, and the recommendation they have been given by many of their patients.

Dr Gay is awesome!! He has helped me with my back and nerve pain for the past couple years. He is easy to talk to, he explains options, making sure I understand, and he cares about relieving my pain. His staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend Dr Gay to anyone experiencing back and nerve pain.
