Dr Powell and his staff are absolutely wonderful! He has excellent listening skills , a caring attitude, is extremely knowledgeable, and explains options to consider regarding surgical procedures. I opted for PRP injections in conjunction with my surgery. The results have been excellent. The post op care for my knee surgery was at Powell Therapy center and my experience was top notch. The therapist was excellent and exercises learned in therapy continue to be beneficial to use at home. I highly recommend using Dr.Powell.

It's been three years since my carpal tunnel surgeries I had both left and right done. I wanted to give it plenty of time before giving a review. I am 100% pleased with the outcome and the treatment and care I received from Dr Powell and his wonderful staff. I haven't been woken up from the pain in my wrists not one time since my surgery. My only complaint is all on me for not having it done years ago. I lost some strength in my crip but it has greatly improved in last couple of years. Not once have I regretted having these surgeries done. Thank you Dr Powell and also to your wonderful staff! Sorry it took me so long to give a review but I wanted to allow a few years to pass in case any complications came up. None did. 100% success!

If you are going to any other Orthopedic or Sports Medicine Physician than Dr. Mark Powell, you are sorely missing out on the best care for your knees and shoulders. I've been a patient of Dr. Powell's for the past year and I am way better than I was 20yrs ago when I unknowingly tore a rotator cuff in my left shoulder. It was only after I fell in a rock bed when my right knee, after 8 months, really started giving me grief that I asked my neighbor about her knee issues and she told me with resounding enthusiasm to go see Dr. Powell. I still can't thank her enough for sending me to Dr. Powell. After my scope & scrape, as I like to call it, I opted for the PRP injections and in less than 3 months, zero pain, no quirks or issues at all. I did do P/T and loved the experience to quicken my recovery. After I was good to go from my knee I was now noticing my left shoulder was not acting right and the pain was radiating down to my elbow. X-ray to MRI showed I had completely torn my rotator cuff and it had rescinded about an inch and a half from where God had originally put it. Dr. Powell was very upfront and honest when he told me it was so bad that going in to repair it wasn't an option. Once again I opted for the PRP injections and 2 months in no pain, no issues and at 63yrs old, I am not idle. I have never babied my actions and I don't plan to slow down any time soon. I figure when or if the pain gets to be beyond the scope of the injections I'll consider replacement surgery but for now I'm sticking with what is working. Lastly, I can not close this without sending huge accolades to all the sweet ladies at Powell Orthopedics. Deb, Jamissa, Mary Martha, Rachel, Kelly and I know I'm forgetting someone, are all Incredible. Powell Orthopedics should be your very first call if your knees or shoulders are not being just friendly. 💛💛💛
