Kyle is THE RockDoc. Best rock climbing focused PT I have seen in a while. I came in with some big toe issues from some over-use injuries. I had capsulitis in both big toes from excessive hard slabbing in el potrero chico. We did some ultrasounds to look and see what was going on and found potential bone fragments. So he ordered me an xray and cleared that up quick, but it was awesome to see him go the extra mile to make sure he knew what I needed. He gave me exercises and steps to recovery, along with a timeline to follow and lots of tips on what to do and look for moving forward. Very good experience, would definitely go back for other issues when they inevitably happen.

I went to see Kyle after many months of dealing with shoulder impingement related to climbing. I hadn’t had it imaged, and I appreciated him walking me through what he could see via ultrasound. He listened carefully, shared lots of good knowledge, and helped me to get a rehabilitation and strength/stability program, which we adapted over 4 months. I very much appreciated his collaborative and educational and humble approach. My shoulder is so much better and so much stronger. Thank you, Kyle!

I want to send this without it sounding like a paid advertisement for Kyle, but Kyle literally changed my life. I went to Kyle with a disbelief in the benefits of physical therapy, but boy was I proven wrong. I had back surgery for a ruptured disc about 30 years ago now. From that day forward I did everything I could do to not bend at the back. I lost massive leg and glute strength as well as flexibility. As an avid golfer, I reached a point where every shot was feeling like my back was going to completely go out. In desperation and through a recommendation, I went to see Kyle. Quickly he diagnosed my issue and established a baseline for measuring improvement. He told me I needed to start doing exactly what I was afraid to do for years. He stated that there were neurological issues as well causing my body to freak out in certain positions. It was a frightening start, but I am happy to say that the last time my back went “out” was years ago and prior to Kyle. No drugs, no meds, just consistent effect movements and treatment. Kyle will always be the only person I will ever see and recommend. My wife is actually seeing him as well and is blown away by his knowledge and impact on her injury. God bless Kyle Cherney, an all all-around good man!
