About this clinic

Virtuous Health Centers, a pain-management clinic in Mesa, specializes in regenerative and interventional approaches to chronic musculoskeletal pain. The practice offers platelet-rich plasma therapy alongside conventional pain-management modalities including epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, trigger-point injections, radiofrequency ablation, and spinal-cord stimulation. Treatment planning begins with a detailed history and imaging review; providers work to identify the source of pain rather than addressing symptoms alone. The clinic positions regenerative medicine as a primary option within a broader spectrum of pain-management tools, allowing patients to evaluate both regenerative and conventional pathways before committing to a c

I met with Ashley today, the new provider that started about 3 months ago. She’s a sweetheart. She ordered a back MRI on me and unfortunately I had something happen to me and have been unable to do that as I have been focusing on my mental health. No questions asked she said she understood, take it one day a time, and get it done when I’m feeling better. I appreciate her kindness and not pushing the matter further.

I was a patient of Dr, Fedoriw since 2009 and in 2022 I was told Douglas Lucas NP was taking over Dr. Fedoriw's routine appointments. In 11/2024 I found out Douglas Lucas NP and Dr. Fedoriw had left the clinic. I had to locate a new provider but Virtuous Pain Center would not send over complete medical records to providers (Virtuous Pain center said they only had records from 2023-2024). On 12/17/2024 I contacted Dr. Fedoriw at his current location to find my medical records and his staff told me that Virtuous pain center has all my records. I contacted Virtuous Pain center on 12/17/2024 and the office manager said she had some records that migrated onto their system from 2012 to 2024. I asked her to confirm if they had any records from 2009 to 2012 and she said she would check and call me back, she has not contacted me . On 2/4/2025 I sent a Authorization to Release Medical Records form to the Virtuous pain Clinic in Mesa, I specifically asked for all records from 2009-2024 to be sent to my new provider. I followed up with a phone call to Virtuous pain Clinic Mesa on 2/5/2025 and staff told me that the office manager completed the Medical Release of information form request on 2/4/2025. My current provider informed me at the visit that he only received records from 2023-2024. On 2/19/2025 I left Virtuous pain center a message requesting all records to be sent to my provider. Virtuous pain center as of 3/18/2025 has not complied with a legal records request. My experience with this clinic has been that Virtuous Pain Center Mesa does not answer phone calls, return messages, and comply with HIPAA records requests.

I was a patient of Doug Lucas and was heartbroken when I was told he was let go around January 2025. I have since had 4 more Dr’s just this year and they are either fired or they quit. I never know the exact reason. I don’t know what is happening but if you’re a new patient looking for a pain management specialist, I’d look elsewhere.
