I began treatment at the arthritis knee pain Center in November 2025. Initially I signed up for seven gel shots once a week for seven weeks in both of my knees. I received no relief from these shots at all! When I received the first shot, I asked the doctor what I should do in the event I needed Pain relief. I was told by Dr. Babu That it was the Center’s policy, not to prescribe any type of pain medication at all! I was told to call my own doctor and explained what had been done to me and ask them for pain medication. I have been registered nurse for more than 50 years and have never heard of anything so ridiculous! My doctor would certainly not prescribe medication for a procedure done by another doctor that they didn’t know. After we finished the gel shots without any relief at all, it was then suggested to me to try a new procedure called Genicular arterial embolization. I was scheduled for this procedure on February 26 at 2 PM. Because I wasn’t sure how I would tolerate the procedure I hired a limousine to take me to, and from the center. I arrived at 1:30 PM on the day of the procedure, and was not taken in until almost 4 PM. I was given a slip of paper, explaining the procedure and signing a consent. No one ever explain to me one on one what would be done to me. When I was finally taken in for the treatment which was supposed to last approximately 20 to 30 minutes, I was tortured for the next hour. The pain was so excruciating that I almost asked the doctor to stop because I couldn’t tolerate the pain. After the procedure was over. my leg was covered with blood! I was then wheeled into a recovery room and left alone while the technician cleaned the room so that she could leave to go home. My vital signs were taken twice and then I was escorted out of the building with no pain medication and no follow up appointment! Beware of this place!!! Do not use this place if you value your life. Do not believe their television commercial. I was very disappointed to see that Lee Trevino supports this Center. I suffered over the whole weekend without any relief. I called the center several times and never received any callback from anyone. I don’t know how these people expect people were in pain from their bad knees to have to experience a lot more pain than they already have! I think it’s very cruel And unprofessional! I will never return to the arthritis knee pain centers, and only hope that they haven’t damaged my knees more than I already have had. This place is a complete rip off. Do not go to this place, if you value your health!! They are unprofessional and uncaring. The Doctor Who does the procedure is not available to take calls because he flies all over the countryTorturing other people like me. I also met a gentleman who is having a procedure done just before me. We exchanged phone numbers and have Talked on the phone about what happened to us. He felt the same way as I did. We should’ve received some kind of sedation before the procedure and certainly follow up calls to see how we were tolerating this torture. I am not exaggerating when I use the word torture because that’s exactly what it was!! Medicare needs to shut this place down!
