I have been undergoing shockwave therapy, facial release sessions, and neck adjustments over the last month for rotator cuff and bicep tendon tears with remarkable improvement. My mobility is 90% better and pain improved by 80%. I believe I am going to be able to avoid surgery. Dr. Xanthos and is compassionate, caring and knowledgable in these techniques, and Mimi Quinn is a miracle worker with her facial release expertise. I have had exceptional care here over the past two+ years, both from Dr Xanthos and Mimi Quinn, who specializes in neuromuscular and fascial therapies related to athletic-related injuries I've encountered. The combination of Dr Xanthos diagnostics and chiropractic treatments with Mimi's therapeudic deep tissue body work and directed guidance for exercises and stretches to support therapies on my own, has worked virtual miracles. I cannot say enough of about Mimi's expertise, amazing talents and the incredible physical impact she has had on my body -- and therefore the quality of my life. I strongly recommend both Dr. Xanthos and Mimi Quinn -- they are amazing individually and as a team. I have developed carpal tunnel syndrome and was scheduled for release surgery and Dr. Xanthos suggested a potential alternative of focused Shockwave Therapy. After a few weeks of once or twice-a-week therapies, my symptoms were reduced by 80-90 percent, enabling me to cancel surgery. Months later, I've had no increase in symptoms. Dr Xanthos also applied some focused Shockwave in conjunction with other neuromuscular therapies I was receiving, with excellent results. I have been made a believer in the potentially dramatic impact of Shockwave. There is no question it kept me out of at least one operating room and likely more.
