Poor use of technology and poor communication. I submitted forms electronically 5 days ahead of my appointment and she contacted me the day before my appointment stating she did not receive them (she did find them after accusing me of not sending them) and it would cut into my appointment time. I cancelled my appointment as I had lost trust and faith in her preparedness and ability to effectively and efficiently complete the appointment. She then sent me an email personally attacking me. I am glad I didnt hire her as my doctor after seeing this side.

I have been a patient of Dr. Chelson for 7+ years. I highly recommend her. A few years ago I was very ill. I was exhausted all the time and couldn’t get out of bed, I couldn’t eat, think, or function at all. Dr Chelson got me in quickly and did some labs and other tests. She got back to me as soon as the labs were done. She then started my treatment plan and followed me closely for the next 6 months until my health returned. She is now and forever will be my PCP. She helped me get well naturally when I had lost all hope. She takes time with her patients and listens to their concerns and follows up routinely. She also does telemedicine when you are unable to be there. I contact her whenever we have a health issue and she gets back to us quickly. Again, I highly recommend her.

After five years of health issues (including fatigue, lack of sleep, and always feeling like I had the flu, symptoms basically ignored by my primary care doc), I made an appointment with Dr. Chelson. She listened carefully to all of my symptoms and concerns and immediately started comprehensive diagnostic tests; this had never been done by my primary care physician. After analyzing the results of my tests, she said, "It is amazing you are still alive." She started me on treatments for several different issues, and my overall health began to improve. Now, three years later (it has been a long journey), my body has continued to heal, and I am almost back to "normal." I am convinced that this success has been due to Dr. Chelson's diligence in finding out the root causes of my health issues. She saved my life.
