Coastal Well Woman, a longevity-focused clinic in Santa Barbara, specializes in hormone optimization and replacement therapy for women navigating midlife and beyond. The practice frames menopause and hormone-related transitions as opportunities for comprehensive health assessment and individualized treatment rather than as symptomatic conditions to be managed minimally. Practitioners work with patients to develop hormone protocols tailored to their physiologic profile and health goals. The clinic emphasizes an integrative approach to women's longevity, positioning hormone care within a broader context of sustained vitality and function across the menopausal transition and later stages of life.

I was referred to Laura by a girlfriend a few months ago, as I was commiserating about the serious lack of up-to-date on HRT studies, actually knowledgeable *and* proactive medical professionals within my health insurance's "in network" realm of providers. My previous women's/HRT/thyroid doctor, Dr. Naomi Parry (if you know, you KNOW and we all miss you!) retired in 2021 and since then, I've been navigating with trying a slew of in-network doctors, but there is a serious lag between what they've learned in medical school and what's been researched, debunked and vastly improved even in just the last decade. I have faith that women's health care will continue to improve, it'll just take time, like everything else we have to deal with. So, with all that said, like others have said here, meeting with Laura is seriously, a breath of fresh air.
FINALLY, there is someone here in town that I really feel I can relate to, that can help me as I navigate the latter half of my life, health wise. Laura truly understands the individual nuances of women's health (not just hormones!) and she takes the time to get to know you as a whole person, and listens to what you're saying about how you're actually feeling. You're not just looked at like a name above bunch of lab result numbers on a piece of paper. Honestly, you'll walk out of your appointment as if you've just made a great new friend that also just so happens to know what she's doing and she's genuinely happy you came in to see her.
Last but not least, even though she's still "out of network" for me, I don't care, seeing her is worth every hard-earned cent to get the care I deserve - AND - her services are very reasonably priced. I am thankful for Laura and highly recommend her for anyone who's looking for personalized help in their health care journey.

I went to see Laura Abrignani at Costal Well Woman for an annual pelvic exam and to check in on my post menopausal hormone treatment. I was blown away by the time and care she gave me. It is also amazing how well informed she is on all kinds of treatments and products, even things just coming out. The space is wonderfully professional and easy to access. I highly recommend this practice for women who really want to get in touch with their needs pre, post and during menopause.
