I have had kyposis in my mid back all of my life. I have found that Croft has been much more helpful in helping me straighten the midback than any chiropractor or physical therapist I have been to. He also helped me with an crook in my back as well. I can highly recommend him to anyone suffering from Kyposis and/or other neck, back and hip issues.

I have been very happy with my results from the therapy sessions with Luis. I have suffered for 2 years now from a pinched nerve between my L4 and L5 vertebrae. I did physical therapy for a year with little improvement, so my doctor wanted to do surgery. I wasn’t ready for the 4 screws and 2 rods they wanted to install, so I found Castrell. I have seen significant improvement in my symptoms. Just 6 months ago I couldn’t stand still for more than 30 minutes without numbness in my foot. Luis helped me to functionally adapt my body, allowing me to just recently stand for 4 hours. The exercises and massage are targeted to my condition. There is more work to do but I am extremely happy to have avoided the very intrusive surgery.

I was drawn to Castrell Neuromuscular Therapy by its stellar reviews, and I’m relieved to see that they do not disappoint. When I first met the owner Croft Castrell, I was experiencing a shortened range of motion that was preventing me from giving my fullest in weightlifting workouts. In addition, one of my calves frequently had been experiencing muscle cramps when contracted. During the first massage session alone, Croft intensely worked on my calf muscles, and I was able to do single-legged calf raises without any of the typical cramping. He finally followed up with an exercise list to be done at home. Croft is a phenomenal and observant massage therapist, who attempts to figure out how to best treat patients based on their range of motion, gait, and lifestyle. His massages do not simply try to provide symptomatic relief but rather try to address the root cause of those symptoms. He brought up other aspects of the body that I hadn’t even considered as possible factors in my main concern. As a former bodybuilding competitor, Croft demonstrated great personal understanding of the muscular system’s nuances in the context of weightlifting exercises. He unsurprisingly has significant upper body strength, which is critical for neuromuscular therapy and deep tissue work on patients who are larger or more densely muscular. I’ve joked that Croft could probably take down a bear using only his thumbs. Although the massages were intense and challenging, I believe that Croft’s expertise has allowed me to develop into a stronger and more flexible weightlifter. If you stick with Croft on a regular basis, the benefits will speak for themselves.

Been seeing Castrell for a few months, man is a wealth of knowledge and good at keeping your mind off the pain from the massage. This is NOT the typical relaxing and refreshing kind of massage. This is massage that helps undo years of damage to your muscles. Every time I finish my sessions, it feels like I just came out of a tough gym workout. My body LOVES it, so much tension gets released. I’ll go to him as long as I can, my body loves it.
