Dr. Akizuki is an outstanding orthopedic surgeon. I’ve had two surgeries with him and always felt completely confident in his care. He treats professional athletes, which speaks to his expertise, but what truly stands out is how much time he takes to explain things and connect with patients. His staff is equally kind and responsive. I couldn’t recommend him more highly—you’re in excellent hands.

I have had a few surgeries and visits to Dr. Akazuki’s. I have not had a bad experience. He is very personable and I never felt like just a number. His experience and skill has proven to me that he is one of the best. I had a total replacement on my right shoulder 3 years ago and I am able to do more and have more flexibility than on my left shoulder.

Dr. Akizuki has been my doctor for more than 20 years and has patched me up many times. He remains a great doctor, he's got a great bedside manner (he always makes me laugh!) and he's willing to forge a plan with his patients that takes all of their concerns into account. Yeah, there are times that I have been bumped because of his other sports gig, but that's part of signing up with him, and if you can't work through that, then he's not your guy...but he's a good, solid ortho who knows his stuff!! I, for one, am grateful!!
