Hyperbaric Medicine & Wound Care @

I’ve been receiving treatment at Hyperbaric Medicine & Woundcare @ Walnut Creek for the past 4 weeks, and it has made a remarkable difference! I was referred by my urologist/oncologist for bladder issues caused by cancer radiation, and thanks to the hyperbaric treatment here, I’ve seen incredible improvement — for all I know, my bladder problems might be over. On top of that, I came in with a deep coral puncture wound from a recent sports injury. It had been infected and was healing very slowly. Within just about 2 weeks of starting treatment, the healing dramatically accelerated, and after 4 weeks, the wound had fully healed. Dr. Tufft is truly outstanding. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, experienced, and deeply caring. He was consistently two steps ahead of even the wound care team at a major nearby medical center, and he went above and beyond to ensure my treatment was the best it could be. Pam and Barry, his assistants, are also fantastic — kind, attentive, and always ready to help. They worked hard to make sure I was comfortable and that the treatment plan fit smoothly into my schedule. The treatment, Dr. Tufft, Pam and Barry have made a huge difference in my recovery and quality of life. I’m so grateful I came here!

Dr. Tuft is absolutely amazing! After My Mom was treated by top doctors in California including Stanford & UCSF, she was told there was nothing else they could do to help her besides give her an infusion that could cause cancer GOD FORBID! That was so scary to hear! We didn’t know what to do. Feeling so lost, confused, disheartened & just hopeless we stumble onto Dr. Tuft doing research on Google. Dr. Tuft has improved My Mom’s health over 50% when she was told there was nothing else that could be done. He is incredibly knowledgeable & very talented. I would highly recommend Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care in Walnut creek. Dr. Tufft and Pam took great care of me and were very helpful throughout the entire process. I had a difficult infection on an old wound/trauma. I had a compound fracture on my leg and have an implant/metal rod through my tibia. The doctors believe the infection was dormant for 30 years and when I got COVID my immune system was compromised, and the infection developed. I feel fortunate that the doctors at Kaiser recommended, and my medical insurance paid for 42 treatments. I will continue to get HBO and pay out of pocket because the benefits to my health have improved on many levels. Highly recommend. Patrick Farley
