This review is a bit long, but worth reading if you are considering this clinic and are dealing with insomnia, anxiety, depression, obsessive tendencies, or chronic stress. Neurofeedback is not a cure for individual symptoms. When you are working with the brain, it is more of a system-wide therapy, which means improvements often show up across multiple areas as the brain normalizes. I came to Neurotherapy of Colorado Springs due to treatment-resistant insomnia that developed after a car accident. At times, I completely lost the ability to regulate sleep. The insomnia would come and go without any discernible cause, sometimes lasting a single night and other times lasting over a month. I tried everything traditional medicine recommends. Exercise, diet changes, sleep hygiene, supplements, prescriptions, and more. Nothing worked. I even completed a sleep study, but could not sleep despite taking 300 mg of Trazodone. The study was ultimately inconclusive, and I was told everything appeared "normal". After exhausting conventional options, I tried photobiomodulation, or laser therapy, which helped somewhat but did not resolve the issue. A local concussion specialist eventually referred me to Neurotherapy of Colorado Springs. I walked in very skeptical. I had never heard of neurofeedback and honestly expected pseudoscience. However, I was out of options, and this ended up changing my life. I went in primarily for insomnia and am leaving with a quality of life I did not think was possible. I am sleeping the way I did as a teenager, waking up rested, and recovering faster from exercise. My anxiety, which always felt visceral and uncontrollable, is finally manageable. I can notice it without being hijacked by it, and it no longer dictates my relationships. Depression used to come in monthly episodes. I have not had one in months. I have also struggled with obsessive tendencies. I would fixate on things I knew did not matter but could not let go of. For the first time, my nervous system actually listens to what my rational mind is telling it. I am profoundly grateful for what Neurotherapy of Colorado Springs has given me through neurofeedback, HeartMath, and their overall approach. There are good and bad neurofeedback clinics out there, and the lack of standardization can give the field a bad name. This clinic, however, is exceptional. Without hesitation, I would refer people I care about here when I believe it is a good fit.

I highly recommend Neuropathy of Colorado Springs. I have appreciated Chris and all the therapsits. Each one has brought great, professional insight and help with nutrition, and life counseling. Neuropathy has changed my life for the better. My focus, my memory, and my emotions have all shown great improvement. I came in fairly sceptical, but hearing the results of my scan was eye opening and validated how I was living my daily life. I started noticing improvements in about 4 neuro sessions, and by about 1/2 way through it was remarkable how at ease I was feeling, like a heavy load had been lifted from me. Everyone in the office is professional and attentive. Alexa has been especially helpful and insightful with each visit, and Anna's added counseling has provided valuable information and tools for my continued recovery.

I can't say enough good things about Chris and his neurofeedback team! As someone who struggled with anxiety and hypervigilance, Chris's customized treatment completely transformed my life. They're truly the go-to experts in Colorado Springs for anyone dealing with brain-related challenges - whether it's ADHD, addiction, traumatic brain injury, or anxiety disorders. Thanks to a proven neurotherapy approach, I finally feel like myself again and can function at my absolute best staying focused, calm and in the present with whatever I am doing. This was the best investment I've ever made in myself. And because of this I especially encourage my clients who struggle with focus, addiction, trauma, or anxiety to get an evaluation with Chris to see if neurotherapy could help them as it helped me.
