We cannot be more thankful for Dr. Knightly and our son’s treatment with the One-D protocol for severe, treatment resistant depression. Our son had tried so many medications for years with terrible side effects, and also tried the accelerated TMS following the SAINT protocol at a clinic in Utah. That was ineffective for him unfortunately, so we looked into deep TMS which targets different areas of the brain. I was put in touch with Dr. Knightly, and we quickly set up an appointment for the one-D treatment. About 2 weeks following the treatment our son went from what we had called 0% wellness, to almost 80% back to himself! He is now back to college and able to do all the things he used to love! We are tremendously thankful for Dr. Knightly and the expertise he gave our son not only in TMS, but after working with many psychiatrists over the years, he is the most thorough and knowledgeable psychiatrist we could ask for. We wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Knightly and TMS for anyone who has treatment resistant depression, there is no better gift than having your loved ones well again, and no better gift for my son than to feel like himself again.

I had such a great experience at Evolve Brain Health today. From the moment I walked in, everyone was welcoming and kind, and the entire visit felt calm and comfortable. The doctor was absolutely amazing — so nice, attentive, and genuinely caring. They took the time to explain everything, answered all of my questions, and made sure I felt at ease throughout the TMS session. It was a very pleasant experience overall, and I left feeling confident, supported, and optimistic. I’m really glad I chose Evolve and would highly recommend them to anyone considering TMS.

EVOLVE demonstrated significant disorganization and lack of professionalism. Detailed medication information should have been requested before initiating treatment — especially for an intensive mental health therapy such as TMS. I was allowed to begin care, but after three sessions my treatment was paused until I provide additional information that will take time to obtain. When I expressed concern about the interruption — particularly because EVOLVE states the treatment must be done consecutively to be effective — I was advised that I could continue by paying out-of-pocket. This would have required a substantial financial commitment with no assurance that insurance would reimburse me. It has now been weeks, and I am still waiting to receive the medication information requested from my mail-order pharmacy. I am concerned about potential billing for the three sessions already completed if insurance denies EVOLVE’s claims due to the missing information. This situation has created unnecessary stress and uncertainty. I spent considerable time researching TMS therapy and selecting a reputable provider, which makes this experience especially discouraging. This experience has undermined my confidence in a treatment that depends heavily on continuity of care and patient trust. Patients seeking TMS often have medication-resistant depression and are in a vulnerable position, making careful communication, coordination, and sensitivity especially important.
