I recently have complete their newest offering of NeuroStar TMS treatment. A non-invasive treatment used to treat depression symptoms. I will be the first to say, it works. From where I was when I started to today my last initial session (36 total) is almost night and day. The entire TMS team at Mental Edge are supportive, educated, fun, and overall genuine in helping those who are interested. From Matt and Hunter doing the initial intake, Hunter doing some sessions of treatment, and eventually Doug and Bridgette doing the sessions, the atmosphere was great. Completely laid back, no anxiousness at all. With their assistance and the work of my own self, the “new old” me is thrilled to be back. I highly recommend this treatment for anyone who is suffering from depressive symptoms. Great team even more amazing and caring personalities.

I just completed TMS therapy at Mental Edge Counseling. TheTMS therapy time commitment it required was so worth it! This therapy has helped my Depression symptoms more than any other therapy! Quick appointments and the staff are all amazing. They are kind and knowledgeable.
All the staff were flexible and put me at ease whenever I had questions about the TMS process. I recommend Mental Edge Counseling for your mental health needs.

I recently finished the TMS treatment program, and it's honestly made a difference for me. At first it's uncomfortable, yeah, but once you get used to it the session's just another part of your routine. Everyone involved in the program is great, they're all very understanding and supportive. The big thing for me is the change in my depression and anxiety, which I'll describe a bit further down. It's not a cure. Nothing will completely erase what you're going through. But it can help make things a lot easier moving forward, and that's the important part. If you're considering, it's worth giving a shot in my opinion.
Everything in general has gotten lighter and brighter. Easier to carry, easier to see.
Bad days aren't large, dark, thundering storms covering the sky and drowning out any light or warmth. Now the clouds are a lighter medium gray, the day feels a bit cold but not freezing, the lights are dull and washed but still clearly there.
Anxiety isn't a constant balloon in my chest that's stretched too big and still too tight and flattens my lungs and heart. It's a solid rock that's heavy in my chest, but staying in a spot that doesn't hurt to breathe, and crumbles apart by itself much easier and faster than before.
It's helped more than I expected. And I'm so grateful to the people who made it happen. And if you do the treatments, I hope it can help you too.

I started therapy early this year and I’m so glad I chose mental edge. They’ve been a great office from the start. They work with your schedule, inform you about your insurance, and help you find a provider that will best suit you. My therapist, Sandhya Verma- Higgins has improved my life tremendously. She is just wonderful. She’s given me real tools that I’m able to use in my daily life to improve my overall well being. Within months my mental health, my relationship with myself, the relationships in my life, and ultimately, my overall well being have improved for the better. For someone who had never been to therapy before and wanted to give it a shot, I am so thankful that I did. If you ever find yourself wanting to give it a try, I encourage you to take that step. It’s not an overnight success. Working with your therapist and incorporating your new practices takes time and effort. Which makes your personal growth all the more rewarding. You will thank yourself in the long run!

THE REVIEWS DON'T LIE... Here's my story:
I tried therapy with them a few times and most of my appointments were spent with the "counseling" member talking about themself. My breaking point was when I had got sick and had to update my appointment, although I was in the office waiting and was told by the front desk to just go, it would be handled. What actually happened is they gave me a missed appointment fee of $100. I could have stayed while throwing up and spread the germs, but sure, charge me after reassuring me that it would be fine.
Next issue is now. Currently I'm waiting on the phone with their billing department. I've had a balance on my account for some time now but I've explained that I'm not paying it until they get the figures accurate, which has not happened to date. These are items from back in 2023. My insurance was billed incorrectly, and it has been an issue since. I've spoken with the office manager TWICE about this to get it rectified yet no one on their end is doing what they are need to and I'm surely not doing their job!
The person who called me took a whole 3 minutes before, after I told her that there are questions with my bill, to state "well since you are unwilling to pay your bill then we will just have to send it to collections". Wow! Quick threat but I'm not the one (my wheelhouse includes medical billing, coding, transcribing, HR, business administration, and calling people's bluff). So after waiting on hold for 25 minutes I got to speak with her supervisor who informed me that her employee DOES NOT in fact have the authority to send a bill to collections. Now I'm waiting to receive an itemized bill including what insurance company was billed and when so that I can do their job for them because clearly after 2 years of "trying" they can't figure it out.
Maybe try another company and just avoid the hassle. And if you do go with them, don't say we didn't warn you!
