At 48, I never imagined needing chronic pain management for a back injury, but from the moment I scheduled my appointment with Interventional Medical Associates, I knew I was in good hands. Robyn was fantastic—empathetic, efficient, and incredibly supportive. She quickly obtained the necessary authorizations and got me on the schedule without delay. The entire office staff was equally impressive. Everyone I encountered was friendly, nonjudgmental, and genuinely sympathetic. The facility itself exceeded my expectations: spacious, clean, and well-equipped with multiple exam rooms, two procedure rooms, and even an in-house pharmacy for added convenience. Dr. Valentine is truly exceptional. He is competent, outgoing, warm, and thorough—someone who clearly cares about helping his patients become pain-free. My initial consultation lasted about an hour, during which he spent significant time getting to know me, reviewing my medical history, discussing treatment goals, and performing a detailed physical exam. Together, we developed a treatment plan tailored specifically for my needs. My spinal steroid injection took only about 15 minutes, and Dr. Valentine made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire process. His nursing staff and X-ray technician were also top-notch, providing professional and compassionate care. I left IMA with hope, a personalized treatment plan, and even my prescribed medications in hand thanks to their on-site pharmacy—which saved me an extra trip. I highly recommend Interventional Medical Associates and Dr. Valentine to anyone seeking compassionate, competent, and comprehensive pain management care.

Dr. Valentine is professional, answers all my questions, asks probing questions, discusses my physical issues in clear language and makes me feel valued. He does NOT rush the visit as if he needs to tend to a "boat-load" of patients, he takes his time and makes sure my visit accomplishes satisfaction for me, his patient. This is a great facility with a much better parking lot to enter, park and to leave without any issues. The building is clean and fresh. The chairs all face a TV, which was not on, but would be nice to have a bit of entertainment while we wait for our turn. I highly recommend Dr. Valentine to all who needs a pain management physician.

Everyone I met at Interventional Medical Associates was patient, compassionate, and polite. The office is well-maintained and very clean. I had heard great things about Dr Valentine but what impressed me most was his kindness and the time he took to explain things thoroughly. It is an exceptionally well-run practice and the wait time was minimal.
