GREAT SERVICE! Now in my senior years, I interface with a lot of medical professionals; but none of the others have provided me with such personalized attention, effective treatment, and simple, hassle-free service as Dr. Craig Castanet at Backstrong Clinic. The first time I ever called his office to discuss possibly coming in for an appointment, Dr. Castanet himself answered the phone. He then spent 20 minutes talking with me, finding out what I needed and suggesting ways to address that. I was impressed. I cannot imagine getting such direct personal assistance from any doctor in the Emory or Piedmont networks. . At the time. I was desperate to find a therapist for my spinal issue. I had called other clinics and left messages for them or had spoken with various assistants or "coordinators" who promised to get back to me later. This had been very frustrating. But when I spoke with Dr. Castanet, he personally set me up with an appointment on the next morning. His office is easily accessible, right off of Hwy 29 near the junction with I-285. Unlike the other medical facilities I regularly visit, there is no charge for parking, no overworked valet, and no creepy Byzantine parking deck to navigate. You just turn off of 29 and into a parking space in front of the building. Backstrong Clinic is located on the first floor --- no stairs or elevator necessary. On my first visit, Dr. Castanet treated my sciatica issue with a spinal decompression. He administered it himself, using one of his many state-of-the-art computerized machines. This was immediately effective. I returned for twice-a-week sessions, then reduced the frequency slowly over time. Now I'm going there about once a month, or as-needed. I am delighted with the results. After I started these treatments, I began hearing back from the other clinics I had contacted. In every case, those providers presented more obstacles and higher costs. I was very relieved to be able to tell them no, forget it -- I'm using Backstrong!

Dr. Castanet is the best, and the spinal decompression feels amazing! He makes communication very easy, and he’s very knowledgeable. I called late at night to schedule my first appointment for the next day, and he picked up on the first ring. I previously had an MRI for my herniated disc in my L4-L5, and when he pulled it up he immediately got a plan together for me. He was also honest, by letting me know that I wouldn’t need much treatment to fix the issue but he also let me know that my pain might feel worse than the physical damage done to my back. I previously went to another clinic in Tucker for spinal decompression, and they told me they wanted $2800 up front for the same thing Dr. Castanet does. 10/10 recommend!

Dr Castanet is great. I have a chronic back problem since I was young. Moved here from CA and was looking for a doctor who had the amazing disc decompression machine. Treatment is easy and within a hour the pain is gone. Decompress, ice and life is good. Dr is easy to talk with and gave me a referral for imaging that was very reasonably priced of my three budging discs and fracture sacrum so we can make a long term plan. So very glad I found Strong Back. Dr Castanet is going to keep me working and out of pain.
