I had a truly pleasant experience at Mountains women Center. From the moment I walked in until the moment I left, I was treated with priority, respect, and genuine care. The front desk staff were absolutely lovely. Anahi and Taleyah both took the time to communicate with me, even while they were busy assisting others. They acknowledged both my partner and me as soon as we walked through the door, which immediately made us feel welcomed. Zoe was incredibly kind and respectful. She ensured my privacy was protected while also making my partner feel included and comfortable throughout the visit. That meant a lot to us. Dr. Kara was exceptional. She took the time to thoroughly explain all of my options and made sure I felt seen, heard, and respected. She clearly explained each process in a way that was informative and easy to understand. Her professionalism and compassion truly stood out. One of my favorite parts of the experience was being able to have my partner with me, and seeing him treated with the same level of respect and kindness that I received. The waiting rooms were very clean, and the overall atmosphere was calm and welcoming. I’m very grateful for such a thoughtful and supportive experience. 10/10 we’ll go again

I had a very disappointing experience at this OBGYN office due to a lack of compassion and poor continuity of care. They may be fine for basic care, but for anything complex, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. I was seen at this office 4–5 times starting in July of last year, after requiring a blood transfusion due to my condition. After that many visits, I expected a thorough and accurate diagnosis, but that did not happen. I was led to believe fibroids were the cause of my severe bleeding, when in reality the issue was much more serious. I was especially uncomfortable with how I was made to feel when requesting an accommodation letter after struggling for months. At first I was told they didn’t have enough of my medical history after they diagnosed me with fibroids I followed up and was then told no because I wasn’t on any type of hormones to treat me(Umm ok?) Ultimately, I canceled my follow-up appointment and sought a second opinion. That decision was crucial another provider properly diagnosed me with adenomyosis, which had been overlooked. Had I not pursued care elsewhere, I likely would have continued being treated for the wrong condition and hormones probably would not have helped at all. Overall, I did not feel heard, supported, or cared for. Managing gynecological conditions is difficult enough, and patients deserve empathy, thorough evaluation, and clear communication none of which I experienced here. If something doesn’t feel right, I strongly encourage seeking a second opinion.

Today was the first day I had an awful experience at this facility. I have been coming to this practice for years and had good experiences with Dr. Glenn and also the new Nurse Practitioner. However, after taking off from work to be at my appointment at 11p, I unexpectedly got caught in Atlanta traffic. I called the location to let them know I was running late but I was definitely in route and would make it in. The person on the phone informed me that I had a grace period which was about 6 minutes out from the time of my call. I explained that I wasn’t sure but I would probably be there maybe 1-2 mins outside the grace period. She then restated the grace period again. At that time, I asked if I arrived at 1 min after the grace period would she turn me around and would she please go ask Dr. Glenn if it would be ok. She said she would and then hung up the phone. I literally pulled up at the exact time of the end of the grace period. It took me one extra minute to walk in and approach the check in desk. The front desk woman greeted me and when I told her my name she then said she would have to rechedule my appointment because I was 2 mins after the grace period. I then began to explain and pleaded with her that I encounter unexpected traffic and had took off work for this appointment and asked if there was anything that can be done being it was only 2 minutes after the grace period and I called to let them know. At that time, she made it clear to me that she wasn’t going to do anything to accommodate me because she felt I had raised my voice over the phone which wasn’t true. I had only asked a question. Basically she was going to charge me a cancellation fee of $75 and reschedule me. Which I didn’t cancel my appointment because I was stand right there. I felt this behavior was very unprofessional, I asked to speak with Dr. Glenn several times and she refused to even go and get her. Instead she went back and forth with me for the next 10 minutes. I even pointed out to her that I could have been in the back and gotten started with my appointment because at that time we were still within my appointment times range. This woman was acting so petty and malicious to me as if I wasn’t a paying patient that has been frequenting Dr. Glenn‘s office for the past three years. I have even brought my daughter to the facility. She described herself as the front office supervisor, but when I asked her where I can make a review on today’s issue, she said she didn’t know. Doctor Glenn and the nurse practitioner are always very friendly and welcoming. I just hope they find a better front desk, office staff that has compassion for patients who are trying their best to respect the time policy. Because, there are instances where things do come up, and it would be nice to have someone who was willing to understand that a two minute difference from a grace period would not have affected the schedule that much. She was very rude and cold with her delivery and very unsympathetic to me as a paying patient which has encouraged me to remove my business from this facility as long as she is working in the front office.
