After a couple of years, thousands of dollars later and being told I was a difficult case (I had Lyme, which caused Scleroderma and ILD) I was passed off to Lorie to try a new medication she would monitor. After about a year I tried to get back in to see Dr Nitz again and they said I'd be considered a new patient and they weren't excepting any new patients, what!? Oh, and they stopped taking any insurance. As if they weren't making enough money in the first place.

It is rare to find a doctor who will work through problems with you instead of passing off hard cases to someone else. Dr.Nitz is a thinker who will not just send you off with yet another prescription for something to do. He truly listens to your concerns and cares about the whole function of your body, not one isolated issue. Without a doubt he has one of the best bestside manners of any doctor I've met.

Dr Nitz takes time to really uncover what's going on with your body and identify and treat the root cause instead of just prescribing a medication for the symptoms. For the first time with a medical doctor, I actually felt heard and he found things that my previous doctors and specialists missed. I'm so glad to have found Dr Nitz!!
