I would not recommend this practice. My daughter did not receive any valuable help from this office, and it felt like they were out to take our money with no real help. My daughter attended several sessions with Dr. Epler, but never seemed to make any progress. My wife and I were highly concerned that Dr. Epler never communicated with us regarding my daughters sessions, as we were eager to hear feedback and suggestions on how to best help our daughter with her anxiety. My wife emailed the office expressing her concern and asked if someone from the practice could reach out to discuss said concerns. We never heard back from anyone and were simply ignored, which was our first red flag. The appointment times that were available were always at random times, and you had to book weeks in advance just to get on the schedule, making it difficult to try to gain a consistent rhythm. Dr. Epler would often run over with other patients, and sometimes wouldn't start my daughters sessions on time, which is ironic, because this office is a stickler on time! The final straw and the reason we left this practice was due to lack of empathy. My wife unfortunately experienced a major traffic delay due to an accident, and called the office in a panic because we would not make it on time to an appointment. My wife rescheduled for a couple of days later, but unfortunately am emergency happened and she was not able to take my daughter, which she felt really bad about, and apologized profusely for missing. The receptionist was really rude, and showed no empathy. They charged us a $30.00 fee, which we understood, because we missed the appointment. Fast forward to almost two weeks later, and this was our tipping point. I was sent a $190 invoice from the practice that stated it was for our second missed appointment. We were genuinely confused as we were not aware of an appointment, as they typically give you a reminder days in advance, leading up to your appointment. We checked our missed calls, texts, voicemails, and emails, and there was nothing from Axon health. When I called to ask about the invoice, they told me it was because we missed another appointment. I asked the receptionist why we didn't get a reminder, and she said they were not guaranteed, and were just “curtesy”. There was no empathy and understanding at all, and did not take accountability for the reminder. At this point we realized Axon is just a money grab, and was not going to offer us any real help. I asked to cancel all future appointments and gave them feedback on how our entire experience has been, and there was not even a single apology. I just want to create awareness. I am sure some have had a good experience, unfortunately we did not. We will be looking for a more proactive and engaging practice that will treat us as partners, to help us help our daughter.

As a psychotherapist and former patient, I highly advise avoiding this clinic. Although they may seem impressive initially, they can easily undermine a patient's trust and confidence when it serves their interests. The office staff is outstanding, and Christine genuinely goes above and beyond, but unfortunately, that doesn't compensate for the unethical care patients receive. Steer clear!

I have never seen a provider, nor their clinic, go above and beyond like the staff at Axon. Derek Littlejohn has spent countless hours helping me get my expensive medications filled at a very reasonable cost, and quickly. 99% of any issues I’ve had with filling my medications have been the pharmacist’s error. But, Derek takes the time to call them and explain how to do their job correctly, in a respectful manner. He truly cares about his patients and their needs. He listens to every worry, question, comment, and/or concern you may have and takes it all to heart, to help you find the best path. He’s definitely one of those practitioners that only come along once in a lifetime. I am truly thankful God put him in my life. Enough about Derek, let’s discuss the office staff. While it might take a minute to get someone on the phone, everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. Christine has always gone above and beyond to assist in getting my treatments covered by my insurance and continues to fight for the patient every hour of every day. Not only that, but if I have to leave Christine a voicemail, she will respond almost immediately with an email containing the information I requested. It would be a grave injustice to a person’s mental health if they were to willingly choose not to visit Axon, and pass on experiencing one of the best practitioner experiences they could ever experience.
