***BEWARE*** 0/5!! UNETHICAL AND UNPROFESSIONAL!! They WILL charge your card hundreds of dollars and when you call the billing department you speak with the most incompetent and rude staff. As someone who used to call insurance companies to verify patient eligibility and benefits for a medical office I understand how insurance works. When I questioned the billing dept about the weekly charges to my card (WELL above my $15 copay) they tried to tell me it was toward my deductible. When I explained I had a deductible card and asked who verifies patient benefits they told me it was my job to know my benefits. When I explained I KNEW my benefits already and that they should too if they’re going to “charge me more to meet my deductible” I was rudely told “I’m not going to talk in circles with you so I’m going to transfer this to my supervisor” I was placed on hold just for the same billing agent to tell me the supervisor wasn’t there and that they didn’t have the picture of my insurance card so can I please upload it to my portal so they can call and verify my deductible/benefits… HOW ARE YOU CHARGING ME TOWARD MY DEDUCTIBLE IF YOU HAVEN'T EVEN CHECKED MY BENEFITS TO SEE WHAT MY DEDUCTIBLE IS AND DON’T ALREADY HAVE THE INFORMATION NEEDED TO SPEAK WITH THEM??? I told the man I wanted to speak to the supervisor and was told “I’ll leave a note for them to call you when they come in.” I then called the office to cancel all my appts until I figure out where my money is going and they transferred me to their “patient advocacy line” where they make you explain in detail what happened so someone can call you back. As I’m sure you can guess by now— No one from any department has called me back. If you’ve experienced this please dispute the charges on your card (if you haven’t already)! The people who own this company are taking advantage of mental health patients. They should absolutely NOT be in buisness and should be reported to the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health. Also, submit a claim to the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, HHS Office of Inspector General, FBI and/or Joint Commission to report fraud and patient safety concerns. As someone who now provides hands on patient care, this company is using unethical practices and should NOT be able to do this to people looking for mental health services. I absolutely will be reporting this so that vulnerable patients aren’t taken advantage of like this again. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE There are amazing mental health providers/clinica who don’t just charge their patient’s credit cards whenever they please for however much they please!!!!!

I’ve been doing TMS through Harmony Bay and it has been great! All the staff and technicians are super sweet, especially the main tech I see Felicia, and it’s been really painless and easy. They are super flexible and understanding about scheduling, as it is something you have to do everyday. I’ve definitely noticed it working for me as well - its individual for everyone, but if your therapist recommends it or you have “treatment/medication resistant depression” I think its worth a shot, especially with these folks. Also I was worried at first that it’d hurt but it doesn’t, it feels like snapping a hair clip into your hair.

This review is specifically for one of their psychiatrists JOSEPH ALLAIRE. Joseph is regularly late to EVERY SINGLE virtual appointment I have ever had with him, minimum of 10 minutes late. On our last appointment he was over 30 MINUTES LATE and when I addressed this with him, his only response was a deadpanned “Sorry. But you know I’m human too.” Which I found to not only be incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional, because he had missed the entire appointment (our sessions only last around 10 minutes), and it forced me to last minute reschedule another phone call with him. This behavior is completely unacceptable and honestly insulting, because if the rolls had been reversed and I missed the appointment or was 30 minutes late, I couldn’t just respond with “I’m human too.” and move on with my day. Harmony Bay would charge me $50 for a cancellation/reschedule fee. The services I have received from JOSEPH ALLAIRE have been nothing less than unsatisfactory for the reasons listed above. The only reason I have not switched psychiatrist offices is because I am receiving TMS services from HBW and those services have been helpful.
