Tmj and Sleep Therapy Centre

I’ve suffered from TMJ for several years, and Dr Ledford has been incredibly helpful. A year ago I hit my peak pain- barely able to eat. I started treatment. Not a huge difference right away. It takes a few months. Each appointment was a little different but we gradually figured out what my issues were. Is it expensive? Yeah, but I was lucky enough that my insurance covered it. If it didn’t, I’d still find a way. I’m now 8 months through treatment and have graduated on. My pain went from severe to very mild, and I’m able to enjoy my life again without thinking about it all day. Thank you to Dr. Ledford and all the staff!

Dr Ledford and his staff are very friendly and appointments were easy however I feel like after my TMJ treatment my symptoms are worse and I have been in so much more pain then before we started. I feel like I went through 8 weeks of misery wearing a daily mouthpiece just to have it not work. They wanted to do blood cell infusions after my 8 week mouthpiece and said it would work for sure but if that's the case why didn't we just do that first. The Infrared light therapy did not help at all and I got a headache after every treatment. I was moving out of state a few months after I started treatment and figured it would be done by the time I left and now I'm in another state and have to find another Dr after I wasted 5k on this treatment. I feel like it was a complete waste of money and I'm very upset about it. But again the staff is great I would just recommend a second opinion or doing major research before any treatment.

WOW!!!!!! Let me get right into this review… • Erica is so sweet, personable, and knowledgeable!! She leaves no stone unturned and it's refreshing when you've been trying to pinpoint a painful recurring issue. Thank you, Erica!! • Dr. Ledford, you should simply retire and travel the world teaching doctors all over about having great bedside manners. Well, don't retire just set up some travel time. LOL Dr. Ledford, you are BRILLIANT! You don't wreak of anything haughty or god-like. You're kind, patient, thorough, and very, very knowledgeable about your areas of expertise. Thank you for finally telling me it wasn't normal to feel pain the way I have been. I've been told most of my life until yesterday that it was “just allergies”. I'm looking forward to this journey and Erica, & Dr. Ledford are truly amazing!!
