Widening Circles is a special asset for the Asheville area. Kim Skelton and her team are highly skilled at providing Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and have created one of the only mental health IOPs in the state. Kim is passionate about supporting individuals and aims to make care as accessible as possible. We always include them in our referrals list for KAP and IOP.

HIGHLY recommend Widening Circles and the practitioners at this healing center. Widening Circles is a Trauma Informed therapy clinic with a holistic treatment approach that addresses the mind, body and spirit. As someone who has tried countless therapists/therapeutic modalities I can passionately say that the team at Widening Circles and the KAP treatments have progressed my healing journey beyond comprehension. These practitioners have mastered the art of listening, holding space, and helping you reach your therapeutic goals. Not only do I feel heard, seen, and validated at this practice but it is also run in a professional and organized manner. Plus they accept some insurance and work to make their practice accessible! I love Widening Circles and the wonderful people that make up their team. Kim & Aimee have made up my personal treatment team and I could sing their praises until the end of time, however every practitioner that I’ve met or spoken with on the phone has taken the time to get to know me, even in a small capacity. I think that shows just how caring Widening Circles is for the community at large.

Doctors Lewis and Spencer facilitated a very healing, profoundly powerful experience. They were both very open, honest and caring, making the entire experience feel safe. I gained many insights that traditional therapy over the years couldn't quite provide.
