I am a patient of Dr. Chui at the Painless Center in Englewood NJ. He has greatly helped me with my back issues. The last several visits I have been seen by Nurse Practitioner Blessy. I am writing this review because her knowledge, care and compassion is outstanding! The office is run correctly and the team there are warm and create a calm happy atmosphere! I do not remember all their names except Stephanie! Sorry for that but they all rock! Thank you all for your great help.

I had a very disappointing experience with Painless Medical Center. I filled out an inquiry form on Facebook, and one of their staff members called me to discuss my issue and scheduled an appointment for Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 5:00 PM. During that call, I provided my insurance information. The staff member placed me on hold, verified my details, and clearly confirmed that they were in-network and accepted my insurance. She schdeuled me with Jason Chiu, MD. Based on that confirmation, I traveled from Trenton to Clifton, which took over 2 hours (2:15) to reach the clinic. When I arrived, the front desk staff told me that I was not scheduled in their system, though she said she could still see me and asked me to fill out new paperwork. After completing the forms, I gave her my ID and insurance card and asked again to confirm whether they were in-network. At that point, she told me they do NOT accept my insurance. I was shocked and extremely frustrated, especially after the prior confirmation and long travel time. I even showed her my appointment confirmation email, but all I received was an apology. This situation was completely avoidable and shows poor communication and lack of verification on their end. My time was wasted, and I will not return to this clinic nor recommend it to anyone in my circle. Very unprofessional experience.

Staff is courteous and friendly. They call one day in advance of scheduled appointments and greet you when you arrive. Dr.Mazzo and MP Maris have been treating my arthritis and giving advise on ways to alleviate the condition with some success, but was advised to have surgery, which I do not want.
