If I could give a quarter star I would. Imagine going to see a doctor to get stem cell treatment to help my joints feel better and within 12 hours you start throwing up . Within 24 hours you stop eating and within 48hrs you stop sleeping and you call the doctor to him what is happening and he tells you to don’t worry you will be ok. Well that didn’t happen and I wasn’t ok. I had an infection from the stem cell that started to deteriorate my spine because it got imbedded on my soft tissue ( discs). I had to have 2 back surgeries and now I have two metal rods that restrict my movement, which is better than almost dying or winding up in a wheelchair had I waited for him to tell to go to the hospital. Still no phone call from him to see how I’m doing. Before you see him on Hail Mary say your prayers. I would not wish this on my worst enemy.

Avoid Mehling at all cost!! Horrific bedside manner and zero compassion. If you are looking for a superior ortho in the area go see Dr. David Forsch.

Mehling is the coolest surgeon who has helped me go back to having a regular day again with this uncommon ankle surgery 3 years in the making but he was never doubtful and I appreciate that in a doctor. I can't thank him enough. His staff sometimes take a while to get back to you but they try to help so I cannot blame them for that. Susanna was super helpful with my experience as a whole and my issues. The customer service she provided was incredible and I am so glad she was there :)) I'm not sure if she's still working there since I have not seen her lately. The other doctors that work for him are very helpful too.

I took my teenager daughter to Hackensack emergency pediatrics due to her fracture in her calf and we was told that Dr Mehling was going to come he was the orthopedic doctor on call but we would have to remain at the hospital basically overnight and he would be in early morning and he never showed up. I kept inquiring has anyone spoken to Dr Mehling its now almost 9am, then it was 10am and then noon on 8/ 24/20 no Dr Mehling. Let's pay attention to how not just inconsiderate this was especially during a pandemic and very unprofessional it was on Dr Mehling behalf to actually tell them he was on his way into Hackensack emergency several times and never showed up. I put my daughter and myself at risk for what another xray that we really could have past on because she just had one on August 18, and to have another cast place on and now she is in more pain then before. We not orthopedics or doctors so we unsure what is the correct way of how this soft cast should be and it may be what's causing her the pinch nerve and tingle in the heal of her foot up the back of her calf. My daughter had to suffer and deal with the pain and was told she couldn't have anything no drink or food just in case she was going to need surgery. All of those hours only to be told that her xray was reviewed by who knows and they was just going to rewrap her leg and refer her to an outpatient orthopedics. I only stayed to see the orthopedic because I didn't want to have to keep dragging her up and down the steps in our house, in and out the car and this puts her at risk I'm in no position to assist her how she needs to but I do my best and pray I don't hurt her. I am so livid and now today the 25th I'm still searching for a board certified orthopedic who can help my daughter because she saying how the soft cast is not on or fitted properly and it's causing her excruciating pain. I am not a medicine person and I don't like the fact that I'm giving my daughter these pills and one is a narcotic... Dr Mehling I hope you will take others into consideration and it's no next time with having families wait on you and you a "NO SHOW!" The truth is the insurance was a problem in which it shouldn't have because this is being paid from NYC- No Fault.... Thanks for nothing! God bless you and stay safe and healthy....

This business is in needed by many in the community. BUT, please check out the CEO of this establishment. She is rude and disrespectful. Tried to speak with her and she turned and walked away while I was talking. That is RUDE and unprofessional. I will not recommend any one to this establishment due to the CEOs disrespectful attitude. The staff is AMAZING though. Very friendly, helpful and respectable. As long as you do not encounter the CEO, the staff members are great.
