Well In Montclair, located in Montclair, New Jersey, offers Red Light Therapy and Shockwave Therapy as core wellness modalities. Red Light Therapy supports tissue repair and cellular function through low-level light exposure, while Shockwave Therapy uses acoustic pulses to address musculoskeletal conditions and promote healing. The clinic combines these energy-based approaches with personalized wellness programming tailored to individual health goals. Treatment plans are developed following an initial consultation. The practice positions itself as an integrative wellness clinic rather than a conventional medical office, serving patients interested in non-pharmaceutical approaches to recovery and functional optimization alongside aesthetic services.

Well in Montclair embodies the meaning of "full-service" care. As so many reviewers have already noted, the space, the range of skills, and most of all, the staff are everything you or I could possibly want in "Wellness" care. Under the leadership of Cathy Stephenson, this place is the answer for those of us who have HAD IT with impersonal, hurried, or superficial versions of medical care. Here, patients/clients are treated with extraordinary compassion and consideration, and that's how the staff all treat each other as well (thank you, Magin, Andrew, Caroline). It's clear from the first appointment, the first visit, the first consultation--Cathy and her staff understand that Wellness is holistic and connected. In particular, Alicia Sant'Angelo has made the most profound difference in my wellness journey.--and it has been a complicated journey, as it often is with geriatric folks. We TALK before every treatment visit, so that any factor, issue, problem, or resolution gets the full benefit of her considerable expertise. Alicia has done her homework and mastered her practice. I started coming to Alicia when I had some neuropathic issues that were pretty scary as they affected my balance; she cleared them up in the first visit! The rest is history. She authentically cares about her patients--and often checks in between scheduled visits just to see how I'm doing, and I have come to consider her an indispensable part of my well-being. (TBH, this is BETTER than family.)

A friend referred me to Cathy Stephenson at Well in Montclair two years ago while I was recovering from a bulging disc. I truly appreciate the one-on-one care received at Well in Montclair versus a more traditional type of PT office where multiple people are being treated at once all in the same space.
Most recently I received care for a shoulder impingement that has been bothersome on and off for years. Cathy used multiple modalities to treat my issue, including massage, shockwave therapy, and functional Emsculpt NEO. The combination has provided complete relief after six sessions.
I have also been receiving acupuncture from Alicia Sant'Angelo for well over a year. She always takes the time to listen to what my needs are and tailors the treatments accordingly.
I love having access to so many skillful and caring practitioners and modalities of care all in one place. I highly recommend Well in Montclair for your physical and mental wellness needs.

I have had a wonderful experience in PT with Skye @ Well in Montclair. All the staff is very professional, friendly and helpful. It’s a beautifully designed space giving patients privacy with one-on-one treatment. It’s been so helpful because I have a tendency to overdo it. Skye gives meticulous feedback as she watches you so I feel comfortable I’m doing my exercises correctly. My specific problem has been going on for over a year. Skye is very skilled, educated and compassionate. She is quite creative in her work introducing various modalities. I’ve made some very good progress and on my way to healing a long term injury. I’m very grateful to Skye @ Well in Montclair and highly recommend her and them.

I had an amazing experience during my first visit. I was having some back pain and after some stretches and tweaks it's been a week and it's so much better! Thank you to the entire team for your caring and professionalism!!

Skye McIlvaine has superlative skills as a physical therapist. Keenly observant of changes in my gait, she is constantly changing up my PT program for optimum benefit. But her help doesn't stop there. After an injury, she counseled me on ways to manage tasks (like managing groceries and handling wash) to avoid further accidents. And when I was hesitant to try a new treatment for my condition, she encouraged me to explore it further, explaining why she thought it could help me. And it did! I've had lots of physical therapists over the past ten years, most of them very good indeed. Skye is superior to them all.
