I cannot say enough great things about Long Beach Balance and Wellness. From the moment you walk in, the entire staff makes you feel welcome, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. They are professional, attentive, and incredibly organized; you never feel rushed or like “just another patient.” Dr. Hoernig is truly one of the most competent and knowledgeable doctors in this field. What sets him apart is the time and care he puts into every single appointment. He goes through your blood work line by line, explaining what everything means, what’s optimal versus just “normal,” and what will actually help you feel and function at your best. Nothing is glossed over. Nothing is rushed. What I appreciate most is that he clearly loves what he does. You can feel his passion for helping patients improve their health. He educates, he explains, and he empowers — but he never comes across as a salesperson. There is zero pressure. His recommendations are thoughtful, data-driven, and tailored specifically to you. Really great staff with helpful home visits … all of the nurses i have met are very nice and polite i’m a big guy afraid of needles they are all understanding and supportive lol. Kate at the desk is great with helping answering any question her customer service goes above and beyond. great place !!! as of late seems like they may have new management or a new system in place … staff is still great but internally this place has seemed to have changed a little bit … seems like it’s become more corporate and less local as it was … still a good spot just has lost its welcoming vibes. Still some of the most friendly nurses ever !
