Anxiety has been part of my daily life for as long as I can remember. Since starting Neurofeedback with Pete I have had an ease in social situations allowing me to interact more authentically. I highly recommend this enjoyable and surprisingly easy form of therapy for profound changes in emotional well-being.

I began working with Pete shortly after a significant TBI (subdural/subarachnoid hemorrhage) in December of 2018. I went in with few expectations, but ultimately was pleased beyond measure. The challenge with TBIs is the slow, unpredictable rate of recovery and variety of disparate symptoms they exhibit; I expected it'd likely take months to return to my cognitively and emotionally challenging, high-stress career, and would likely have insomnia, headaches, and anxiety for many months/years following that. However, after several weeks of sessions, I felt my symptoms lift and I'm glad beyond words that I was able to return to work and life less than 3 months post injury, feeling better emotionally than I did before the accident. Moreover, Pete is a joy to work with- emapthic, warm, intelligent and down-to-earth. I can't recommend Pete and his services enough!

Before I began neurofeedback with Pete- my emotional, mental, and physical state was depression, substance abuse, lethargy, fear, social anxiety, insomnia, racing thoughts, ADD, lack of motivation to begin tasks, and constantly being triggered into hyper states of arousal. I have complex PTSD and have been living with it since I was a small child. I had resigned myself to accept this life because I had tried many healing modalities (meditation, talk therapy, somatic therapy, medication, yoga, qi gong) and none of them worked in effective and notable ways. Now that I've completed my neurofeedback sessions, my symptoms of depression, lethargy, social anxiety, ADD, insomnia and crippling fear (hyper states of arousal) have calmed down and I am able to manage and self soothe myself. I don’t feel terrified any more. I feel safe in my body and mind- and I know that I can be present and engage with people around me in a healthy and participatory way. I honestly never believed that I would be freed from the mental, emotional, and physical experience of complex PTSD.I will forever be grateful to Pete and neurofeedback for assisting me in my freedom to my more authentic self.
